Hi Guys, i was thinking investing my savings because I'm afraid of Inflation. What do you guys suggest me to invest to, in order to protect my savings from inflation. I'm not talking about a lot of money, but still, these are my savings, and i don't want to go in flame. I was thinking buying Gold, or Natural Gas stocks, but i have no experience whatsoever, so it would be nice if anyone can advise me.

Look into index fund with equal bond allocation and equity if you want to be safe.

Haha 😂 I just read about the Canada thing…. I have 3 little kids. Don’t watch the news.

That’s awesome. I was shocked that certain stocks yesterday starting going up.

Think it’s a good time to get into the market. People are panicking now

Tho if it does get to a us/ Russia war…. Anything you do now really is irrelevant.

Us/NATO will just sanction Russia. And shit will go back to normal but Russia for bigger again.

Meh i think many are putting to much hope on the fed not raising or raising rates slower than they did before the ukraine thing.
I would not be to sure about that as a prolonged conflict would rather flare up inflation than calm it which would force the feds hand.

Then again what do i know yesterday shitcos somehow started rallying mid day cause apparently a short war is good for stocks?
Would not trust this market until we get a clearer picture on what this means for energy prices

I think people don't understand that Putin has lost his marbles, these are not the actions of a sane leader. I doubt the intel he is getting is the real picture. Guy has been isolating himself thru covid for 2years and has lost sense of reality.

do not buy the news that the fed "will not raise interest rates", if you think trade friction was bad (supply chains), its about to get a lot worse. If anything, this is a stagflation issue. In the 70's it took aggressive fed to get inflation under control.

I'm honestly not looking for nothing, I'm using eToro, just investing small but weekly long term. Not looking for cash anytime for the next 10 years at least.

Just if there are good YouTube investors to follow or good sites to read, I'm not looking for handouts in information just a friendly begginer "check this out" :)

Advice #1: Don't do this for casual fun.

Also, eToro is very dependent on its crypto volumes so if that bursts, I'd be worrying a bit, but they're looking strong for the time being.
I would know, I live across the street from them

Just if there are good YouTube investors to follow

or good sites to read,

Again, depends on what you want to do.

There are several to follow the news, but the good ones with great insight tend to require subscriptions.

Use Seeking Alpha for starters, you can make a free account which limits to you a couple of articles every day. Just make sure you waste those on articles about companies you are interested to invest in.

I'm not looking for handouts in information just a friendly begginer "check this out" :)

Since you're open to youtube, I can only recommend that you use some accounts that explain things or try to analyse them rather than "buy this" and "sell that" kind of nonsense.

Let me say it like this all youtube investors out there are selling something and it s usually not good stock tips....
Yes there are good ones but it usually really depends on what their speaking on. As in you might get some insights on a certain company from them but you ll always have to verify for each company if they are bullshitting or if they provide real info. One guy might be great for mining stocks but horrible for tech and growth stocks and most of these chanells dont stick to what they know they usually stick to what gets views so just keep that in mind.

You ll have to figure out your selfe whos who and who fits your Investment style. General advice avoid anybody who loves Cathie wood or Elon musk 99% of these people have no idea and are just shills. At least in my book.

I think seeking alpha and twitter are good places to start yes theres a lot of BS on both those platform but their free theirs also a lot of great analysis out there, and just following a few accounts and writers you ll learn who you think you can trust and whos just a shill.

General advice would be to subscribe to a couple of good news outlets, WSJ/FT, also to read some basic books on how markets work and on Valuation models. Now you dont have to be able to do the valuation your selfe but you have to understand how these models work. Otherwise you might end up a AMC/GME ape and be convinced that your getting scammed by market manipulation of short sellers while MGM robs you blind and you cheer em on.

Generally speaking i d also say that your not in a hurry rather read up a bit more before you invest than rushing into markets.
Also i personally believe you already got it half right with your strategy, constantly puttigng money into markets without caring to much about timing is usually a winning strat over the long haul.
