Hard to believe this will happen so soon. I can't see any other option than Inter getting rid of Pele and Dacourt then because Stankovic is probably staying now. Our midfield will consist of Cambiasso, Vieira, Stankovic, Muntari and Bolzoni. I see Mourinho putting Zanetti back to defence, primarly.

But let's see what happen.

I think Muntari is a great player and did very well @ Udinese but do we need more defensive midfielders, we already have Cambiasso, Chivu, Viera, Pele and Dacourt.

I'm starting to wonder about Vieira. I guess Jose will use Chivu as a full time defender, and Pele will be a backup. Cambiasso, Muntari and Dacourt could alternate. If Vieira stays, then I suppose it would be Dacourt who'll be seeing a lot of the bench. But that happened before, and Tiger was just too good for that.

This year, I have no clue what Mourinho has in mind for him. Are we selling Vieira? Unlikely, unless PSG has another sleave up their arms. But that would be ideal, that Vieira leaves and make room for Muntari, who is a lot more consistent.

And as mentioned, this transfer is coming one year too late. He wouldn't have been expensive at att last year, when it was obvious to everyone that he had developed into a great player.

According to the line-ups, today Javier is playing in his usual last year position, on the side of midfield. I don't think it will change.

When I first heard of this, I was disappointed to see where the management or coach were looking for solutions to Lampard.

But I am loving it now and really hope it happens. Muntari is a gem of a player. And like hal said, it would mean Cuchu pushing up further which is where he belongs.

To be frankly honest I haven’t seen much of him. Hence I wouldn’t like to comment yet. However based on what others are saying and the fact that he despite his young age has abundant Serie A experience makes him a good purchase. In Mourinho we trust…
