Not nearly as much hate mate.. u can see it yourself. When Muntari scores and plays decent It's just by luck and abnormal,
When Pazzo misses clear chances to win us points, game after game, week after week, It's just because our midfield sucks, he's not in form, or whatever.

It's easier to target the AFRICAN
Milito is another case in point: He's sucked for most of the season and yet
Oh well, Muntari is gone, time to look for a different scapegoat

He may be scoring in Bbilan right now, but that does not mean that he would've scored here. .

...because the coach used him in the wrong position. If the coach was smart enough he would have found a niche position for Muntari and we would have been getting 4 goals in 10 matches like he is doing for Bilan

First of all, I think that not only have Obi, Guarin and Poli shown great promise - they have also had some great performances this season. While Guarin obviously has not played that many games for Inter (four, I believe) his player profile seems to fit much better here than that of Muntari.
Promise yes.. great performances here and there sure..

And yes, it does seem that way indeed.

Also, I don't think that Muntari had any good games in his last couple of seasons with us - he may have had some decent performances here and there, but he was generally unreliable. He may be scoring in Bbilan right now, but that does not mean that he would've scored here.
Considering he's been on loan for the majority of these two seasons it's highly unfair to judge him based on that.. a better judge would be his first two seasons with us.

I agree that none of the four players are 'world class'.. but neither were Cambiasso, Deki, Motta and Zanetti in our treble-winning campaign. You don't need 11 world class players - you need 11 players that can play with each other.. and I think the chances of creating such a team are bigger with the absence of Muntari and the presence of Obi, Poli and Guarin.
I am pro-Muntari not being here but we can create a team with anyone.. it dpesn't mean that we'll win anything.. and I really don't think a middle of these four is anywhere close to be good enough for us. Muntari or not.

In our current state and current form, Muntari would have been a lot more useful than 80% of our players

Well, I'm sorry you think so low of our team.

...Muntari had moments like the Catania match where he single-handedly lost the match for us.

literally :)

I seriously hope you don't think that way. I seriously question how one can even come up with such a thought.

This is similar to the Seedorf situation
Milan's style suits Muntari
Inter's style does not
So, it is a win-win situation for both teams
Inter gets rid of a square peg in a round hole
Milan gets the last piece for their jigsaw puzzle

^ :trollol:

We had that average sub for years, and he has been shit for 90% of the time, even when we were still steamrolling under Mou he wasn't anything special. He's probably having the same thing with bbilan he had with us - playing good in his first while at the club to make a good impression and make the club keep him, and when they sealed the deal he becomes a pile of shit. He was shit, accept it, and he is gone, be glad about it.

If you want a sub who scores 4 goals in 12 matches, then look on for another one, cause it wouldn't, can't and won't be Muntari. Simple as that.

U for real?

The only reason Muntari is starting atm is because our other midfielders are either injured or crappier. He is by no means a starter come next season, and if he is, it will just prove how delusional our management really are...

But he's scored 4 in 12 matches.
Sign him, 4m/y and 10m signing fee. Just do it.

... wow talk about underrating.. 90% of his games for us?

People the Catania game was bad.. but that's not Muntari's entire Inter career.. He won us several games as well.. there were games where he was our best midfielder.

I dare say he was our 2nd best midfielder in 08/09, his first season. A close second in fact, just behind Deki. Better than Cambiasso I think.

But he really was utter crap in his 2nd and 3rd season. Apart from that Catania match, are people forgetting his masterclass against Barca at the Meazza in the group stage? I swear we could have beaten the unbeatable then had it not for his brainfarts.

Come on now. Cambiasso was our best midfielder that year. Muntari wasn't close to being better than him. Stankovic would be 2nd. Muntari could make a case for third I guess.

He was pretty average his first year here. He was just so historically awful in the following years, that it made his first season form seem world class in comparison.

He is a 5rd or 6th ranked teams material.. Who could be useful for a big team in few matches only a season.
