Technical problem

Hey,

Every time i try to move from the thread to the forum by clicking on the name on the forum upfront in the page, I face a pop-up saying "Are you sure you want to quit from this site? Your changes might not be saved" (Actually not this exact message, since I use the hebrew version of Chrome so I just translated it ), and then I have to click on "quit".

Am i the only one facing that problem? I don't have that in other forums and sites.

Do you know how can I fix it?

It is likely because you have started typing a post in the quick reply box below. The forum is afraid you're going to discard a post unintentionally, and is warning you.

It happens even if I did'nt write a message, it happens every time I do it.

Just like ADRossi says it always happens for me even if I only write a character in the box. Try just open a link and then immeditly close it. It won't warn you then.

That's not this case, it warns me everytime ALSO when I didn't write anything.

but that makes things unnecessarily complicated.

lol what? this has nothing to do with my pc.


also, another thing: when i click on someone's profile, i also get the messages of their 'friends', so if i'm looking for a specific post, i might have to go through dozens of posts. this include my page, i even removed all the friends i had because i couldn't find my own posts anymore.

so i think that friends' posts shoudln't be showed in the user's activity.

Some admin with access to the php.ini file should allocate some more memory. There's nothing you can do.

Here are two simple methods to increase the limit on shared hosting:

If you have access to your PHP.ini file, change the line in PHP.ini If your line shows 32M try 64M: memory_limit = 64M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (64MB)

If you don't have access to PHP.ini try adding this to an .htaccess file: php_value memory_limit 64M
