He shot three people "defending" someone else's property thousands of miles away from his home and got acquitted.

Depends how much you care about American legal cases, as well as politics. The case that has my intrigue right now is Elizabeth Holmes' trial.
Why though? Thats such a cut clear case if they let her off and decide that this was not fraud my god the american financial system is in for a rough ride.
Or do you just wanna see how corrupt the whole system really is?

Then again i m shocked ritterhouse got aquitted so what do i know

Depends on your political view lol

Most extreme leftists are pretty mad about the verdict lol
Honestly, I find it annoying that I have to keep up with random domestic shit going on in other countries. Just shows how much of a hegemon the USA is (or is it are?) and how everything must revolve around what's going on there.

Hollywood, [social] media, stock market, politics, internal [social] conflicts, sports and all that... At some point you just give up caring as it consumes you and you stop caring as much about what's going on around you. And then there's mini-me, the UK, where they follow the USA and then we are also expected to follow the UK. All because they managed to cement English as the lingua franca in the last 70 years.

Anyway, I don't care about this issue, now that I have a basic picture of what happened, and I find it odd that people that aren't going to be affected by this keep caring. I guess for some this is what modern entertainment looks like. It's like a non-scripted reality show and we all know how those popular can get, so I get that, but getting invested in these issues feels weird for outsiders.

You don't have to. I know because my coworkers mentioned how the justice system in fucking USA has failed them (we live in Canada ffs) and it intrigued me, only to find out that he acted in self defense.

Many people argued that he shouldn't have been there, but neither should those looters have. What's funny is Joe Biden called him a white supremacist lol

The last part is another reason why I find this very annoying.

We seem to import everything that happens in the USA and pretend as if it's relevant in Europe.
For example, in the UK there are a lot of black people, but their situation on how they ended up in each place is completely different, yet we equate everything because the USA discriminates by skin colour (aka "race") whereby this wasn't a thing over here. But now we also do.... And here I mean that all immigrants typically face the same kind of discrimination anywhere, but because of this US import, it feels as if some immigrants are more equal than others.

Anyway, no need for more of this.

The case was interesting for couple of reasons really, and for transparency I'll say that I agree with the final verdict.

The incident was fully caught on video that is easily googled within 10 seconds, in pretty clear resolution and framerate. Everything is clear as a day to anyone who bothered to look it up and read on the facts and surrounding circumstances. The interesting bit is that certain people and media managed to virally spin the incident into some sort of fantasy version of it by using inaccurate and intentionally misleading buzz words and terms such as "...crossed state-lines", and it worked as you can tell even by people of this forum. A lot of leftists on the internet had fully formed and cemented opinions because they thought the victims were black, which was not the case, and reddit and twitter are full of such comments. A lot of intentional misinformation and obtuse inferred/implied fake facts.
Out of respect for this forum I won't go into further detail and my opinions because I don't seek any debates or arguments as such things already happened in the FIF whatsapp group last night.

It was also one of the biggest public cases in years and regardless of the outcome, it is not outside of realm of possible that it would instigate massive riots that could potentially even instigate a civil war.

And thirdly and last... the verdict coincided with the trials of Ghislaine Maxwell. What that could mean I'll leave to personal interpretation.

All I'm gonna say is if that dude were black he wouldn't have been alive for a trial to begin with. And if he were alive, I'd bet my house that the verdict would be very different.

He lived 20 miles away, what are you on about.
Fair play he really did.

Still was there with a weapon with no license for it right? Protecting property that weren't his own, nor was he summoned there to protect it?

The problem is the way the judge interpreted the law that minors can carry AR-15s.

Yes the video showed him defending himself while running from 4 people but the question is why he was there in the first place with an AR-15. There were protests of a police shooting so anyone in the vicinity other than law enforcement is either there as a counter to the protests or to indirectly antagonize them. Showing himself and others with weapons basically saying they and the police run shit there. All of these are things that are kinda unspoken when there are protests or opposing parties out in the street.

You can say he was there to defend his businesses, his friends family etc but businesses are usually insured and if ur in ur house minding ur own business chances are nothing will happen to u, even if the protests or unrest are close to you. Even if ur in the streets with weapons defending ur property or neighborhood ur interaction or demeanor will dictate how people will respond. IF he is a 17 year old who is comfortable enough strapping an ar 15 to his chest something tells me he doesn't have much empathy to begin with and is looking for it, i might be wrong though who knows.

Another thing is that he putting on a show that he was crying and breaking down in court, another show for the trial. After he shot he went up to the cop cars and looked fine. The arguments people are making are with regards to the specific laws and the different response if he was another race other than white. Had he been black helping out the cops that night he might have got shot by cops himself on sight.

Didnt really follow the case day to day but thats the general idea i get from having watched his video and why there were protests in the first place. At the end of the day he did what he thought was right and the jury gave a verdict.

Why stop there though? Why were those people killed looting in the first place?

He shot them because some attacked him and in his mind his life was in danger, he didn't shoot random looters.

Also i elaborated further in my post, you are free to not stop wherever u want, i dont think looters deserve to get killed. Police should be able to deal with them along with the national guard without killing them, if there is actual looting happening.

He acted in self defense, it's not like he just straight up shot them looters. You said he shouldn't have been there in the first place, but the fact is neither should those looters. If it wasn't their lives, it's his; by law he had all the right to choose his and I'm sure as he'll he's glad he did.

U should read my post again, i said they might have been there as a protest in the area, did some loot, i dont know i wasn't there, i dont know the people he shot were looters either, we are going in a different discussion here. Anybody is free to be anywhere but u being there with an AR15 with armed people is a different statement. He shot because he and the video showed he was defending himself against people coming after him, regardless if they were looters or not.

What is voili nation?? I'm seeing it all over twitter
LOL same, not quite sure but from what i understad one guy the animal violista opened a space where he ran song covers on a loop done by Marco viloli who from what i understand runs a roma fan page. There s been a bit of a controversy because the animal violistas tag on Twitter is @mussolinho.
Also the dude claims those songs were stolen from private conversations of him.

Quite sure theres a bit more to it...
Example of one of the songs:
think this is the dudes website: https://www.romagiallorossa.it/

Still bit confused about the whole thing
