Or Woody Harrelson's father.

Al Pacino (Jimmy Hoffa)

haha but seriously it was probably the mob - this RFK was pretty convinced the mob killed his brother and was sad because he thought they would go after him instead. Bobby (full disclosure - my political hero) went after the mob hard when he was attorney general and they felt pretty betrayed because they helped JFK get elected senator and president.

Yeah I think so too. I also believe Oswald was in on it and maybe even fired the first shot and the mob planned in advanced to throw him under the bus. But he was certainly not the lone shooter - it can barely be called a conspiracy.

I don't think any governmental institution was involved tho. The only argument for that would be the very careless and questionable handling on and at the crime scene by the police/detectives immediately after the assassination. Some random pedestrians even found bone fragments of Kennedy (or Connally) days after.

Feels like an inside job when you see the story. The mob was probably in on it too.

I mean, they told the Secret Service to stand down. There were several gunshots from various places and it wasn't even taken from the easiest spot at the Depository while the witnesses had their words altered apparently in the Warren Report.

Don't confuse this with what you think could happen in the 90s or recently. Everything back then would be considered sloppy in today's eyes.

The key question is why would someone want Kennedy out of the picture. And then you can slowly single them out.

Anyway, in some years the record will become available and we'll see how much of it will remain top secret classified.

Nah, that's just too risky for the CIA to pull something off of this magnitude. It would have easily been leaked by a whistleblower.

I'm with Shark here and Brehme is right that things worked differently back then in terms of technology, crime, etc.

the mob also had disproportionately more power then than it does now - atleast if you ask me, now they are intertwined with big business in a way that makes them less 'offing people in the streets' and more shady business deals and questionable deaths of important people.

I don't think the CIA was involved. They may have been pissed after bay of pigs - but the FBI under Hoover was actually probably more sketchy back then than what we think of as the CIA now. All things domestic were the realm of the FBI and some think Hoover was probably the most powerful non-president in US history. He also was not a fan of the kennedys.

I feel like some of FIFers could lead us to tremendous glory and some of them could tear us apart.

I wouldn’t be paying our coach who doesn’t know how to play more than one formation 9 million euro a season

We could scrap that mai in B slogan pretty fast if any of us would be running the show and thats me included.

Lets not fool our selfes we have no idea what happens behind closed doors and yes some of us watch a lot of football and know a lot but i can guarantee you that it does not come close to what a guy knows who has been in this for his entire career.

Like no matter what job your doing even if it s very easy a guy who has never done it on a professional level does not stand a fucken chance if he s just thrown into the mix and his performance is compared to a guy whos been doing this forever.

When it comes to actually running a football club our knowledge is probably closer to the knowledge of thohir on the matter than to that of beppe.

It s basically the same when we claim that we re better than who ever is the shittiest player on our squad, when in fact even a 40 year old rocchi would beat us all embarrassingly when it comes to football skills otherwise there is no way he d have played in serie a.

It's a flu, fatalities can be counted on one hand, at least officially. #Communism

You live in a "Western" country and you're young and at least middle class, nothing to worry about. You have accessible and immediate healthcare. If you were a poor elderly Chinese villager then I'd worry. After all, children in Africa die because of diarrhea but I'm not seeing anyone losing their minds over it.

The bigger worry is what the fuck are we planning on doing with antibiotics. Specifically, what's the plan for after they lose any potency and superbugs are the new norm. Bacteriophage are a thing but there will be a transition period and probably many people will die because of it.

The part of China where the outbreak started and is killing people is really quite affluent. Plus, from what I'm hearing is that this 'flu' is that it's scary more from a transmission perspective more so than it's likeliness to kill. As its going to be impossible to prevent widespread infection which will just put a massive strain on medical resources which will lead to people dying more so than from its particular characteristics.

However, I'm no expert but I know from my friends in China are seemingly very worried including one who works in government.

I'm no expert either, clearly. And I haven't researched it much but it's the same thing every other year... I suppose it's the "bird flu" of 2020.

What's fucked up with China is that they are trying to damage control a viral outbreak... If they didn't it would probably be much easier to contain the virus but in Communist "culture" it's bad press, even if it has nothing to do with governance. We've seen it with Chernobil, we are seeing it to this day - politicians prefer to sacrifice lives rather than their power. I'm talking mostly about minor local politicians that don't want to look bad in front of the central committee, desperately trying to downplay the gravity of the situation.

I think it s somewhere in between the problem with the coronavirus really is how fast it travels and how fast it infects people, but in terms of deadliness we re talking about 2% of all infected people so thats not really that bad.
Which i think is why we re seeing this reaction from china and even from western countries who canceled flights to china pretty fast when compared to other outbreaks.

I d guess that we have it under control within 2 months it seems like existing medication already works even though not perfect so i guess finding the perfect mix or a new medication for it should not take too long. Also roche came out with a fast test for corona yesterday so that should show they re already working hard on it.
The challenge is gonna be to contain it till we have a cure or a vaccine for it so that damage can be minimized.
Again i m not really worried about the death rate just about how fast and hw wide it can spread.

Also i not a doctor i did some research on it cause i m worried about the effects it might have on the economy, i did talk to my sis about it though who is a doctor,
