I remember reading an article on Taribo West a couple of years ago.

The article stated that West was actually alot older than was recorded on his perso\nal papers and that his co-ordination was so bad that it was a constant source of amusement and used to make his coach and teammates laugh during training sessions. If I am not mistaken, the article was looking back on Gigi Simoni's time as Inter coach.

New Grass To Be Planted As 17 Matches To Be Played In 8 Days At The San Siro, Italian Media Report

Inter and AC Milan are taking the opportunity to maintain the pitch at the San Siro, and will have new grass planted ahead of a busy January schedule.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Serie A agronomist Giovanni Castelli will import grass from the US to improve the hardiness of the turf at the stadium.

Given that both the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri play their home fixtures at the San Siro, the stadium rarely goes long without use and this can lead to wear on the grass.

In January, Inter will face Juventus in the Supercoppa Italiana on the 12th before Milan take on Genoa in the Coppa Italia the next day also at the San Siro.

On January 22 Inter will host Venezia at the stadium, before Milan host Juventus on the 23rd, another 24-hour period with two matches.
In this case, both teams having to play home games to make up for having both played away while the stadium was in use for the UEFA Nations League.

Compounding these issues is the fact that this buildup of fixtures will occur during a period where the weather conditions are the harshest for the pitch.

Heated coils and photsynthetic lights are used during the winter months to keep the grass hardy through the cold, but even so this period should pose a test of how much the turf can withstand.

Agrononomist Castelli intends to import a variety of grass called “poa trivialis” from the US which can quickly take root even during cold and harsh condition, and this will ensure that coverage of the pitch is even and healthy.

This was the link but it says it is currently unavailable.

Unless you want to ask Inter or Moncler about it, you can only just check every now and then in that link.

you were so close

The Czech thing is quite weird.

We tried to get Petr Cech (before JC), Jankulovski, Poborsky, Schick, Ujfalusi and even Barak... it's odd that we have no one from there despite relevant interest. We've had more Greeks with less interest  (Enter joke about Greeks being easy)

best comment I saw on Twitter today

Milan has 10 points in 5 games against Roma, Venezia, Spezia, Juventus and Inter and are in the Coppa semis.
They are the next coming of Guardiola's Barcelona.

Inter has 8 points in 5 games against Lazio, Atalanta, Venezia, Milan and Napoli, are in the Coppa semis, have beaten Juventus in the Supercoppa final.
They are in crisis.

We're also in the Last 16 of the CL I might add :D

We are in crisis though since we have higher expectations.

Not sure where to put this, but Inter twitter. The guy Nima tavallaey or whatever is an absolute ballbag.

Most of last year he spent crying and criticising conte looking him out then loved him at the end. He's trying to get gigs now talking to English media about Contes time at inter

But worse than that, he's a fucking man child who fights all the time. Always having digs at ramano and others. He just tweeted some shite there again goading another inter twitter guy who is actually reasonable.
He always has digs now at David amoyal who never responds and who took him on to his show loads and helped build his profile.

MILAN – During a press conference in its headquarter, FC Internazionale Milano has announced today to have signed a partnership agreement with Panasonic, the well-known Japanese electronic brand, that become the reigning Italian champions’ Official Air Quality Partner for this season.

The agreement includes a series of marketing and communications activities such as product placement in various club locations, social branded contents and pitchside brand visibility during Serie A and Coppa Italia matches at the Stadio San Siro.
The virtual press conference was joined by Alessandro Antonello, FC Internazionale Milano CEO Corporate, Luca Danovaro, FC Internazionale Milano Chief Revenue Officer, Andrea Cetrone, Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions Italy Country Manager, and Stefania Bracco, Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions Italy Marketing Manager.

"We are delighted to announce that Panasonic has joined the Nerazzurri family as Air Quality Partner. Technology and innovation are crucial in the development of our Club and this new partnership represents a further step in the path of innovation that Inter has undertaken in recent years," said Alessandro Antonello, Corporate CEO of FC Internazionale Milano. "In Panasonic we have found many of the values that characterize our club: not only the innovative impulse, but also the attention to the welfare of individuals."

"We are proud that a brand like Panasonic has chosen Inter to become part of the world of football in Italy,"
added Luca Danovaro, Chief Revenue Officer of FC Internazionale Milano. "This new agreement brings together two global companies, symbols of excellence in their respective fields, and represents further evidence of the evolution of our brand and its attractiveness at international level and not only in the world of football.”

“Well-being and sustainability are the roots of Panasonic's mission from its foundation until today”
said Andrea Cetrone, Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions Italy Country Manager “Through our partnership with Inter we want the value of our technology, which is present in our residential and commercial air conditioning solutions for small and large environments, to be shared with all sports fans and beyond.”

“Panasonic began researching solutions for indoor air quality in 1997. Over the years, studies have been conducted that led to the birth of nanoe™ X technology, based on hydroxyl radicals contained in air humidity. The continuous commitment to improving air quality has led to continuous tests to verify the inhibition effects of this technology on pathogenic microorganisms (bacteria, moulds and viruses) and allergens and the breakdown of PM 2.5 particles, leading to many different certifications tested by 3rd party laboratories available in our website”
added Stefania Bracco, Marketing manager of Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions Italy.

Panasonic has supplied Inter with more than 200 portable nanoe™ X generators, as an example of the technology. These generators have been provided exclusively to FC Internazionale Milano and they are not available for the European market yet, but are planned for sale in the future following this agreement. Meanwhile, this technology will follow the champions during their days in many spaces of the Suning Training Centre, at the Inter Headquarters, at the San Siro stadium and at the Suning Youth Development Centre.

The vehicle through which the nanoe™ X technology distributes the nano particles within the environment is the humidity already present in the air, bringing two important benefits: it extends the lifespan of OH hydroxyl radicals and uniformly covers the volume of the environment within which the nanoe™ X technology is acting.

The efficacy of the technology is demonstrated not only towards pollutants present in the air but, given its nanometric dimensions, also those nested between fabrics and on surfaces that are difficult to clean (e.g. walls). This solution is also effective in large spaces, as this technology does not act inside the machine but the nano particles it produces spread throughout the volume for both small domestic and large commercial environments.

The technology is simple and consists of few components. All stressed elements are coated with titanium.
