I'm okay that it never went further than it went. DMX and Jay-Z couldn't stand each other.

Also the music scene changed so much from 1999 to 2000 that I just know they would never do anything worth mentioning. Jay and Ja Rule both rode their own wave, while DMX got worse every year.

Ja Rule went into obscurity very quickly too. Jay Z fared best out of that trio. Funny because personally he's my least favourite of them.

I don't like the middle part of Jay-Z. Everything up to Black Album = amazing. After that, meeh, except for American Gangster. With 4:44 and his feats, he got into it again.

Roc Marci went off on this one. I still hate that it says Wu-Tang when it's clearly a compilation with some Wu members and not even on all songs.

I always liked the idea of projects like this that kept the Wu name out there, RZA and other wu affiliates worked on the project so i was never bothered, plus it says Wu-Tang and not Wu-Tang Clan. Plus it had a lot of dope tracks and artists on it.

I remember the project at the time was highly praised along with GZA and Muggs Grandmasters album.
