This will become political for sure. Italy has strong relations with the Saudis, so them getting a prestigious Italian club is definitely going to gain the relevant approval from the government. The Saudis also tried to cooperate with the Chinese in certain deals, so maybe bailing Suning out could be part of some deal.

I'm pretty sure if this idea is still entertained by the Saudis that Paul Singer will try to offload Milan to them.
And if someone can circumvent the UEFA policy of not owning two clubs in continental cups, it's these guys.

The more I read and think about this Saudi group buying Inter the less I like it. It's one thing to be bought by a ruthless corrupt business tycoon or consortium, but quite another to be tied to an obviously odious dictator with blood on his hands.

Thats just market cap. Its works only if you want to buy a few shares of Man Utd. Thats not valuation, if you want to buy the club or a majority stake you may have to pay a hell of a lot more.

For eg, Roma's market cap is only €220m. Yet Dan Friedkin paid €600m to buy the club.

Yeah, but it's a good start for the valuation. Who knows what a premium would be esp with their share voting structure. Anyway.

Re Roma I'd assume there's probably some assumption of debt kn part of that deal. But I'm not too close to it.

Inter Owners Suning Are Looking To Restructure Their Debt In China, Italian Media Claim

Inter’s owners are currently in the processing of restructuring the debt that they owe to the Chinese government, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by Il Sole 24 Ore, the Chinese government as well as the major Chinese banks are working together to try and restructure the debt that Suning owes, which is thought to be around $2.6 billion.

The bank that would be the most involved in the process would be CITIC but there are also discussions around totally reorganising Suning as a company.

Inter are now Suning Sport’s most important asset so the Chinese government could ask them to sell the club in order to help finance their debts back in China.

This is why rumours of a takeover by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund are still circulating, as Suning could be forced into a sale of the Nerazzurri in the near future.

I want Mbappi as first signing, then maybe Cancelo and Robertson. Hazard or Kante would be a nice addition.

1 billion for an asset that loses 150-200mil a season, and will require substantial funding to be a going concern (say 500mil?)

you could *almost* buy Man Utd for that. A club that generates like 100m a season in profit, has its own stadium, etc.

1 billion valuation for Inter is a joke to be honest.
that valuation includes the debt

The rules say that no one can have ownership of more than 1 club participating in UEFA tournaments.

5.01. To ensure the integrity of the UEFA club competitions, the following criteria apply:

no club participating in a UEFA club competition may, either directly or indirectly:

hold or deal in the securities or shares of any other club participating in a UEFA club competition,
be a member of any other club participating in a UEFA club competition,
be involved in any capacity whatsoever in the management, administration and/or sporting performance of any other club participating in a UEFA club competition, or
have any power whatsoever in the management, administration and/or sporting performance of any other club participating in a UEFA club competition;

In case this happens, the club with highest coeff gets the UEFA competition spot. So Newcastle fans would stop celebrating
For that reason, if they are really into investing in us, it will be either as a co-owner or a major shareholder owning less than 50% of shares. And actually that's how they wanted to invest in us originally. Back in February, there were talks of them buying 30% of our shares or forming a consortium with Fortress (US hedge fund) to buy the club outright. There could also be other ways to work around the rule if they have the will. But I doubt there has been any serious interest in the first place.

This team is dead. If we aren't sold by the spring I am very VERY worried about our future.

3 players who arent fit [sensi, vidal, sanchez]
2 palyers in the midfield who are not capable of performing at least 5/10 all the time. [vecino, galdardin]
1 player who was ok and replaced with 5.5 player[eriksen=hakan]
1 a goalkeeper who lost his mogo since spalleti era 2018,yet he stayed in the team

beside the contract ending for vecino, sanchez, vidal, brozo, ranochai, kolarov, dambrossio

its a scrap yard, that conte managed with his expierence and unity with
orialllia to bring them together

Cant blame inzaghi for this, cant even blame him
for replacing a 62-64% winning coach
with a 52-49% winning coach

and a team with a weak and incompetent bench
who cant compete with the starters in most of the match's.

summer 2022 will be a nightmare
and a shitshow.
