Actually it was at one point at least. There were reports that the agreement was done at 7mln, but then Sporting decided to low-ball us.
Maybe this guy is not 100% accurate, but he is not 100% wrong as well. I think there are definitely some negotiations, and let see what will happen.

The summer transfer window was unfortunate but if we can spend again next summer the situation is still salvageable. We have already secured a Handanovic replacement so we just need upgrades on the wings, a starting creative midfielder and probably a forward. Not a tragedy. We are going to have a huge problem if we have a repeat of last summer though. If we need to make another 1-2 big sales (e.g. Lautaro and one of the cbs) then we will almost have to start from scratch.
