Even in banter era we would be proactive during mercato. It cant be worse than this.
signing palombo and rocchi and robbing our future to pay for the present is worse than we are now, imho.

Would love to have an owner like Glazer as long as we have competent sporting director
you mean someone who doesnt invest, and takes dividends out every year? that'd be worse than Suning..

While Libero are usually a shit source the article is written by Biasin which makes it a lot more reliable. He also claims Oaktree are also pushing for the sale. I guess they want to be certain they will get their money back but shouldn't they be in favor of Suning failing to repay them, get the club at a ridiculously low price and sell it on a profit? It's a bit baffling to ne
the legal side costs money, and its a lot of hassle. You'd need to appoint board members, hire staff, actually run the club, and hope you can recover your money from it.

Its easier for them if the club gets sold and they get their money back+the interest.

If oaktree waits till suning default they need to run the club till the sale goes through. Seems they have no interest in that.

No its not, getting rid of Perisic and getting Acerbi instead is worse. Stop defending chinese crooks.

Obtaining profitability isn't even possible without the UCL revenues.
Fair enough was more a point of how would anybody be ale to take money out of this club without lowering the quality of the squad drastically..
Which the glazers would do in a heart beat....

Anyways looking at all the speculation in this tread and all the rumors all it tells me is that the Italian media does not know shit other than the obvious that suning is pressed to sell. Like they are all over the place when it comes to suning selling inter.

In my opinion, Middle East financial group is the best football club owner compared to other regions. I am not talking about money only, but also about ambition and roadmap. They know either if the club should go big instantly (see City and PSG) or grow gradually (see Newcastle with their players and manager choice).
Other options are:
  1. Italian: Enough with the lunacy. De Laurentis, Gaucci, Ferrerro etc the list about insane heads are endless and somehow being Italian is the common denominator.
  2. US: Must avoid. Almost everything they touch turn into shit for they understand nothing about football. MU become a cashcow for Glazer, Kroenke destabilized Arsenal instantly, Boehly is playing real life FM now, Pallotta ran Roma onto ground, only FSG seems okay but I can't remember any other decent US-owned club.
  3. East Asians: Really depends on who is the owner. A scumbag like Peter Lim and Li Yonghong should be hindered. Suning used to be good. They had ambition, they had money, and they manage us well. Too bad they are restricted by their emperor's policy it is time to part ways.
When we consider the available suitors and their reputation, PIF should be considered the best option.
Eh, you're over exaggerating the American examples. John Henry has been a great owner for Liverpool. It took him a while to figure it out, but McCourt has Marseille moving in the right direction. Commisso has Fiorentina returning to their level. We've talked at length about Elliot and Milan. You can cite Kroenke and Glazer all you want, but let's be real, no one with that kind of cash is buying us.

It's dependent on the competence of the individual. It has little to do with the nationality.

Also the issue with Glazers and Kroenke isn't the money. Both clubs spend a lot. Their problem is they have incompetent people to manage it.

FSG have spent a lot less but they have Klopp whose choices are usually spot on.

English clubs have too much damn money compared to other leagues, they need new FFP to address this

Hope our new owners can figure out a way to make more money, in truth we will likely see Super League in our lifetime, hopefully that will be fair not the shitshow they proposed

Aren't the Glazers taking big dividends & saddling the club with debt all the time? Yes they spend a lot on transfers but they spend what the club earns itself via revenue. It's not like they inject money into the club.

Yet somehow half of them are up to their eyeballs in debt and they constantly underperform in Europe.

Glazers are taking dividends out of the club but have you guys followed how much money United is still using to the team, almost annually? They bought players worth over 200m€ this summer for example.

It's the sports management which is their problem.

Yes, and that's the problem. They couldn't replicate their commercial model with Inter... So badly spent money would be even worse here.

Look at them though, squandering money on bad players, no investment in infrastructure, owner dividends.. it's a lot worse than Interz they're just richer.

inter stature are more worse than m united, at least m united have money to allocate

inter don't even have money to manage themselves, and then inter looked so confidence to signed and overpaid some players, mostly old guys, from the money we don't have.
