I think, functionally, we could see a midfielder go though - thus frattesi signing - but I dont think theres huge demand for Hakan, so it'd be Barella and I dont really want that.

too old to go to a team bigger than ours. He can make 5x more in a Saudi or Qatar league team but prob still wants more euro footie

tho would love if we get a Salah type offer for him in the summer.

I mean pre Suning..... was pretty depressing our best player was fking Guarin .... and not sure if you guys are trolling or actually thought Ricky Alvarez was a good player haha. We would sign the most fking random players of all time then have to give most of them golden handshakes.

Suning is doing the best they can within the budget and being broke. We got to a champions league final and didn't get embarrassed. We are top of the league and buying smart.

those of you praying for a rich sugar daddy. All of them want pretty EPL teams. They will use us as a feeder team to make their pretty EPL team that actually makes money more profitable.

Our Roster now vs pre suning (after 2011) is a no brainer

This is absurd. There are handfuls of teams like Porto that do this non stop. Suning will refinance the bond and the world will continue to spin. It's not that big of a deal, stop reading the football media.

Ricky Alvarez was a good player. Not a great player and also limited as fuck, but strangely dependable, a player that saved our asses a few times, but not a player I liked specifically. There were even games where Alvarez was playing LCM ffs and he kinda did it justice.

Inter back then was a mess. Let's not kid ourselves, Alvarez wasn't as good as Sanchez was, but I gotta admit that a lot of times he was the only bright spot. But he also had stiiiiinkers

Yeah he's been so-so. I remember him having a run of some exceptional games but also he's had a period while he was completely garbage. It was difficult even for these players whom were somewhat good enough, to make the best out of it because of mediocrity in overall. That post-treble banter era was something else man.

Yep, there wasn't a proper structure, leadership and general direction in the club at the time. All that affects new, specially younger players coming in.

True but lets be honest here if ricky had any where close to the talent we thought he had when coming in he would have made more out of his career...

You need to take into consideration he had many injuries in his career. Not saying he was a world class talent but any potential he had was fucked due to injuries.
