According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Chinese are only able to begin operating this October. This means that Erick Thohir will be responsible for Inter’s summer budget. The Suning Group’s funds will be transferred into Inter on June 28th. The Nerazzurri are also working with an international legal firm to enable the Chinese to carry out their plans as soon as possible. The proposal is for Thohir to be responsible for Inter’s finances until July 1st. This will allow the Suning Group to operate without relying on the Indonesian. Once the proposal is approved, Zhang Jindong will begin his plan to market Inter like how the NBA market their teams.

Great, but I think Serie A is collective bargaining for TV revenue so out of our hands, and we're trying to grow revenue but we're not at the top of our sport unlike the NBA is collectively as a franchise, so its about making Inter more appealing, rather than being better at making deals

What could Suning do, surely within FFP rules:
1. Most important, go ahead in building a new stadium or renewing the Meazza (investments in fixed assets does not impact profit & loss until the stadium is ready);
2. Try to break Pirelli's deal worth 10-15m a season and sign a new one with Suning worth ~30m;
3. Buy Melo. Maybe not for 12m but if we sell him for 3-5m and stop paying his wages that's something already;
4. Pay Inter some money (no idea how much) for the right of use for Inter's players image in China;
5. I heard something about Pinetina naming rights but this seems strange to be honest.

I dont see how our stadium naming rights is worth more than maybe 10-20 million euros a year. From what I can see. stadium naming deals are typically about the same as shirt sponsor deals.

That deal + Teixeira loan or small sum for him are enough to give us BIG start for next mercato, this mercato we are in Thohir hands, all media confirm that! The best move Suning can make is to get Melo for 5-10m his salary is 3m!!!

It's not really a hole.

For one, we rent the stadium from the council non-exclusively. The council are probably the peolpe who will take most of the revenue from any naming convention. this is different to Man City's stadium where they exclusively rent it from the council.

I wouldnt expect any naming scheme, to be honest.
