At this moment - I only care about not having crippling debt and not trying to sell our best players because of it, no matter who the owner is.

If it's selling one of the best players we have to buy more really good players, I'm good with that.

I would take any ownership that could guarantee the club zero net spent. This needs to be the bare minimum. Anything more than that would be a bonus. As long as we need X amount of profit every summer it's impossible to stay competitive.

I would be happy with an owner who wiped all of our debts and increased our revenues to the point where we can stand on our own two feet. Anything else is a bonus

hope our new owner must make us self-sustainable and competitive in Europe, dinosaur players should not allowed, old and overpaid should not allowed too, and please promote your youth guys to starting XI every season.

hope who ever owns us doesn't own or want to own a EPL team. I don't want us to become a feeder team for Newcastle or Nottingham Forest

I think we would all like that.

But is this possible? As it seems our finances are fucked. Is it possible for an owner to take care of all the debt and don't put it on the books as a loan to them?

Maybe, and i think neither of us likes thats, we're living to big given our finances and income. i really don't know how much money we precisely make every season and what our expenses are? If we like it or not, we aren't a Premier League team with this immens tv-rights. We don't have our own stadium. We have not really big sponsor deals. And we are not as marketable as Real Madrid, Liverpool, United or Barca all over the world.

The only real possibility, i think, to spend big and don't be sustainable is to become some toy of a rich owner. Such as Abramovich, PSG, City and Newcastle. The question remains; how many of those people are there, and are we interesting enough for them?

Possible? Yes, would be the easy answer. But it is hard. I would love to see a spreadsheet with our income ans our exoenses and revenues.
There are actually three level which determine how much revenues you can get. The club self, the league and the country or better say region/city.
You can run the club from the sporting perspective as good as it get. But if the league is shit and tv-righta are low you cannot do more. With the stadium is the same shit. If the community doesn't help or even stay in your way, you cannot do much.

Look at Juventus under don Beppe. He made from scratches a super team that play 2 CL finals. That was one of the best teams in Europe. But the next and the final step was too much. The cost were too high for their financial power (small stadium, tv rights not PL level) and than they startet to downgrade.

And because the normal way is hard, everyone here (or alomost) want a sugar daddy. We had one in Moratti. It's not going to happen. Probably we all bacome fall in love with this team during Moratti's tenure. I don't think someone fall in love with banter era teams. There were ugly, nothing to like about them.

I dont agree with second part… Juve downgraded because of poor scouting and paying fodders huge salaries. Bad management if you ask me

Exactly. The beginning of the end for Juve was Agnelli obsession with CL and his decision to sign Ronaldo. They decided to go all in for triplete in 2018/19 but it didn't work. Signing Ronaldo wasn't a problem by itself of course but it had huge financial consequences. Everything else that followed was just a result of that decision. Selling Cancelo for Danilo plus cash. Signing Ramsey and Rabiot for free on huge salaries. Pjanic-Arthur swap deal on ridiculous fees. Selling Romero for peanuts to Atalanta. And of course the merry-go round in coaches. 3 coaches, who had no similarities, between 2019 and 2021 which emphasized lack of a clear project. There's a reason Paratici was forced out.

Yes very much so... For example one would assume that the oaktree loan will disappear/ be paid off when somebody takes over inter as shares where used as a collateral the buy back of these shares should eliminate the loan
On top of that purchase agreements can be drawn up so that the new owner ends up with debt free Club. Or atlest without any major debt i guess some credit lines are always gonna stand when having an operation like inter.
I m not 100% sure but i think the bonds we issued can be recalled early so we could eliminate those too.
Now i m not sure what fifa/ UEFA rules say but theoretically an owner can inject capital by increasing share count and then just buying them him selfe.....

Nobody prevents an owner of a money loosing business to keep on Investing his own funds into it. FInancial fair play was kind of created to curb that out though so i m not sure what FIFA and UEFA would have to say about this.

But it is absolutely possible for an new owner to eliminate our debt.

Yeah now that you mention it I guess, where's Marotta and Ausilio?

Theyre probably doing this to get some heat off Steven by associating him with the new signings.

Indeed Steven wants to be there when there is something positive to announce/celebrate.

It's just so fucking obscure and almost disgusting while at the same time behind the scenes he's ordering these massive sales the directors are forced to do, ie. dismantling the squad bit by bit every summer.

Well yeah but the point is Steven is the face of Zhangs at Inter. He's parading in the good moments while behind the scenes they are kicking players out.
