I missed the days when the our only players called up were Ranocchia and Ricky, and they wouldn't play anyway. Simple time.

These days, I clench my butt scrolling the news every morning hoping nobody dies.

Bastoni got injured in the training with the U21. Great start, and it's only the first day of the national break. :eek:blivious:

And he isn't the only one.

Inter, Lautaro training separately with Argentina: the reason

Lautaro Martinez, the Inter and Argentina striker, is training separately from his teammates ahead of the game against Brazil. The team is currently on a training camp in Mallorca, though the number.10 hasn't been able to feature yet.

As reported by TyC Sports, Lautaro is recovering from a blow to the head, which he received in the game against Verona. However, the tests have been positive, but as a precaution, he's training along and his condition will be evaluated in the coming days.

Though to be fair, Lautaro is carrying the injury since the match against Verona.

Ah, the good old days... oh wait, they were terrible days if Ranocchia and Alvarez were starters.

But I know what you mean. Today every time our guys go and play for their national teams I have to pray they get the flu right before the game or something like that, so they don't even step on the pitch.

Man up, Hoe. We have Conte now. I don't even remember such a strong start by Inter, ever. We can win against Torino without Sensi, Bastoni and Lautaro.

How about 2 years ago?

Conte has earned 1 extra point in the first 12 games vs 2 years ago. Also, we didn't have European matches 2 years ago.

Yep but we have yet to play Napoli and Roma, by this time 2 years ago we had played against much formidable opponents : juve, roma and Napoli in which we had 0 loss. Squad depth was much less 2 years ago.

No. We haven't played Juventus in the first 12 games. Juventus was matchday 16 which we drew and then followed by loss to Udinese and Sassuolo and then a draw vs Lazio. We have also gained full points so far vs those we lost points to 2 years ago except Juventus.

Dortmund win?
The first half performance vs Barcelona and Dortmund?

Playing 5 matches in 12 days?

This season is definitely much harder than 2 years ago and we have been able to scrap points after points.

This season is probably one of the best start in history

Two years ago we screwed the season vs Udinese in 17. round without CL. We played mighty Pordenone and gloriously won on penalties tho.

We are about yet to see what Conte's Inter is made of.

Meanwhile Vecino looked like he may have suffered a brain hemorrhage in the last game but no one seems to care.

Fair enough, we'll see how we do after Round 16. What does the first half of the matchs we lost have anything to do with anything really? We lost both matches, plain and simple.

With this form we can manage to collect about 80 points. You know when was the last time we won 80+ points? 2009/2010 season.

As of now I am totally happy with what we are doing.

That we are not just rolled like an omelette, that we can match those "formidable" that you mentioned. We are not there yet but we are definitely better than 2 years ago.
