Its time people smelt the coffee. This year we have an easy group compared to last year, and we lost 3-1 to a 3rd rate team with one player, didn't just get beaten by them, I could handle that, but we got fucked by them, 3-1 is a hiding simple as. Now we're under pressure from Twente and have lost top spot, if Spurs win all their games we're 2nd at best. Our league form is Eto'o-reliant, if he doesn't score we can't get goals, we had 22 points at this stage under Mou and were scoring for fun. And no, the vast majority of the injuries aren't Benitez fault but muscular strains and so on are questionable at this stage of the season like it or not. This clown comes in, tries to wipe all memories of Mou, gets rid of photos etc, fucks a long-standing servant of Inter off so much (Oriali) that he quits. Then spends all his time talking shite about another club in another league, priests on butter mountains and pints of milk. Benitez in so many ways is not an Inter-standard coach, and lets be honest, how is a man of his belt size supposed to inspire the likes of Maicon etc to run the hell out of themselves when its clear he couldn't run to the toilet.

It's actually funny how much more Luka understands about football than 90% on here, thank god there are a few that understand.
There are a few.

But get used to comments like that when we loose. This is a "team that won everything syndrome" ;) People don't remember, how it was when you were loosing year by year.

...

Seriously, people blaming Rafa should go and support Barca, or Real, or any other team they like to win every week.

The major problem we have this season is:

1) no adequate cover in attack, 6 players for 4 positions - this is a joke and why ? Because we're "smart" to not overspend, while at the same time asking for 35 mln for Maicon  (ok that was quite fair), but 30 mln for the Idiot :lol::lol:
2) no midfield reinforcement; we all knew Motta won't make it for long time
3) Maicon staying (I think we all now realise this was a mistake, and I was wrong thinking it was great he stayed; motivation means just too much for this guy to play good), which wasn't exactly our fault as Real wanted to buy him for scraps

Rafa is the last to blame, at least for my account, but this is not about this game, but overaly about this season.

As for todays game, it was obvious for all to see, we lacked midfielders who knew what to do with the ball. Motta, Stankovic, and to some degree Cuchu, would make a lot of difference. When Obiorah came it was worse, then with Muntari. You can't win a game, when you have 4 midfielders injured.

What I might stick to Rafa is his tendency to stick to the one formation. I like Jose with this, that he wasn't afraid to switch to different formation, if something didn't work. Zanetti - Muntari isn't a midfield that gives you confidence to win a game, if you play 4-2-3-1.

And last word for Maicon. OH MY GOD :yuck: Can you get more humiliated like that or what ? And what the fuck happened to him ? He was never a great deffender, but he always was a beast when running, sprinting, and today he looked like a grandpa against Bale. Oh my GOD.

I think Maicon and Wes are victims of Jose leaving. Wes is great when there is a lot of space to pass to. He is perfect for the type of game we did last year. Maicon same thing. He likes a space to run, he likes balls to run to, he doesn't like to combine while standing, or to build up play like that. That's what Dani Alves is better in. Maicon, whenever runs I see all the time nobody passes to him, and when there is nobody to pass to, they pass to Maicon, who can't do anything with the ball anymore. Last year it was the opposite.

Anyways, the problems will not go away, whether we have Hiddink, or Jose or Ferguson. WE NEED REINFORCMENTS. You can't fuckin collect 60 mln in summer, and spend 0 of it. This was insane and really STUPID move.

Wow, Bale is truly an amazing player. Lucio and Maicon are two of the best in the business and he made them look crap. Muntari injury was key, he was helping Maicon keep Bale under control at the start of the 2nd half, Nwankwo did not give Maicon any assistance in stopping him. I thought the defence were very sloppy with possesion and until Coutinho and Milito came on we were somewhat lacking in creating genuine chances. We have problems but I don't think they're major ones, players coming back from injury will be key.

I hope this means that Moratti has already talked to Branca and Napoli, Fiorentina and Liverpool for the January transfers of Hamsik, Montolivo and Fernando Torres  (none cup tied)

As much as I love playing our kids, we can't just throw them out there and actually depend on 18-22 year olds!!!

What the fuck. This is almost as bad as our 0-1 loss to fucking Panathinaikos.

But I'd prefer a shock result like that than losing to an English team. No doubt Bale is a fantastic player with a great shot and great.... speed.. but it sickens me that we conceded essentially 4 goals (counting 1st and 2nd leg) to the SAME FUCKING BULLSHIT. It's like playing PES and having some fuckhead sprint down the touchline with some fucking fast idiot and just scoring the same cutback to tap-in bullshit. It's a fucking stupid way to concede and the fact that we conceded twice like that, and were getting raped by the same fucking halfwit is unacceptable.

That was embarassing. We were completely played off the pitch! Not just by Bale but by Tottenham. They were faster, stronger, and better today. They beat us to every 50/50 ball and bullied our front men.

I hate to say it but you can't blame tonight on Maicon wanting to be in madrid, or signing a new contract or anything. He must at least have pride! Fact is he's getting older and he may just not be the same player that he used to be. He looked VERY slow out the gates, Bale took two steps before he took one.

Nwankwo played better then Muntari. Fact. He is a better passer and actually made some important tackles. Not that Muntari was horrible but he did jump in pretty badly on that first goal. We missed Motta today though worse then Cambiasso. We were clueless on where to pass the ball when it got to either Muntari or Zanetti. Both would rather pass the ball diagonally, which forced Sneijder deeper. Their inability to spray the ball around and find Pandev/Biabiany allowed their midfielders to lock onto Sniejder. Therefore every time he got the ball he had to twist and turn, or fall down.

If Biabiany doesn't know how to use his speed, send him today's highlights and tell him to watch the other winger on his sideline.

Pandev, useless today. I was one of your supporters but boy are you making it hard to root for you. I now think I'd rather see Coutinho or Biabiany play over you on a regular basis. I'm starting to forget exactly what it is he brings to the game. You don't beat markers, cross well, or really ever score. Link up play wasn't particularly amazing either.

Only positives from this game is Eto'o is still in form and he scored once Milito came in. Which shows that him playing on the left may actually free him up more then hurt him. Milito also looked a lot more like last years Milito then we've seen so far this season. I'd start him next game.

To all those who think this had anything at all to do with Benitez, I'm gonna say it nicely: Calm the fuck down!
Now how the hell is this his fault? Look at that fuckin' bench man! WTF is that?! You call that a bench!!! If something goes wrong like tonight, the coach has no options in order to make significant changes.

Now Bale to us is like Roy Makaay to Bayern when he used to play for Deportivo & owned Bayern in the Champion League like shit. You guys remember? Bayern went after him cuz they couldn't stop the guy. I hate this Bale kid for how he made us look like a bunch of jerk offs, but if I was Moratti I would stick my hand deep in my pocket & sign the son of the bitch.

In 2 games he scored 3 times & had 2 assists. FUCK!!!

This defeat hurts, but too many things went against us, I think Twente is the most important match of our European season, it will define how far we go into the CL and how much more of our attention will go towards the league

I'm starting to think Rafa should just play Maicon at RW. He spends most of his time on the opposite side of the pitch, atleast someone can be at RB that is willing to put forth the defensive effort like Santon.

As for the likes of Pandev, Muntari, and all the other rubbish that is getting a paycheck, sell them as soon as possible. The youngsters with no experience are putting forth better effort. Purchases need to be made this winter, at the very least to add depth to a squad that is injured all over the place.

Eto'o, as always, is putting forth a hell of a campaign. No matter what happens this season, us fans are going to look back and realize it was Eto'o with 10 other guys.

Which brings us to a difficult situation. The old guard is struggling to pull their weight. Maicon, Milito, Sneijder, and JC have all had porous showings thus far this season. I'm starting to think Maicon wants nothing to do with Inter, and in hindsight should have been sold to Madrid. Sneijder needs to regain the form he had for the Dutch NT.

Add into all of this is a coach attempting to play a different style of football, getting no new players, and living under the shadow of a treble winning coach.

We've started the process with Cou and Biabiany introduced, next season the old guard needs to be torn away, I'm not in for anything Arsenal-ish just get some younger players in with the hunger to win things and not afraid to play, perhaps next generation has more technical abilities,

It's too early but this season could be used as a rebuilding season as if we don't I fear we could end up like Milan after 07' triumph.
Towards the end of the season I want the younger ones to be more involved and by next season Santon, Ranocchia, Mariga and Coutinho as first teamers. Biabiany isn't first XI and ideally I want him to be our last attacking option rather than Suazo or something.

Buying players in their prime is also neccessary, 24-27 players proven but hungry. Have 2 players on each of the 4 ''attacking'' positions that you would be comfortable seeing on the pitch, no longer should we see posts like, 'Oh Jesus it's Nwankwo, Mancini, Suazo etc' Those players shouldn't be even playing with our squad.

Also....our bench.

Squad next year
GK: Cesar, Viviano , Castelazzi

RB : Maicon , Zanetti
LB : Santon , x
CB : Lucio, Samuel
CB : Ranocchia , Chivu

DM : Schweini , Mariga
DM : Cambiasso , Motta

WF : x and Affelay
WF : Coutinho, x or Pandev

AM : Sneijder , x or Pandev

ST : Eto'o , Milito

Cover for positions is Deki, Biabiany and Córdoba. All those 3 can cover all the positions of Mid, Fwrd and Def.

That's the start of it.

But that's too far ahead let's concentrate on this season.
