BTW, this is what we meant, when we said youngsters at top clubs like Inter is always a sacrifice/risk. So the results like that, were a top team like Inter uses or HAS to use youngsters, is exactly why a teams like Inter usually DON'T DO IT.

Mystery solved :)

That's why most coaches are opting for more mature, better players, because playing youngsters always lowers your chances to win.

 I've been saying this for years every time we played shit but sometimes we're so lucky. I bet nothing comes of it though.
Massimos dream was CL. If you look, you'll see, that we DID invest every year. Last year was the first year when we weren't on the red in terms of transfers in/out ratio. Every year leading to this, we invested, and we were on the red after transfer windows.

Last season we weren't, but look that we still invested almost all Ibrahimovic money. This year, we sell for over 60 mln, and all we do is spend some for The Frog, Biabiany, BigMac and so on. Overall, we got like 50 mln at least LEFT, from transfers ALONE.

WHAT THE FUCK WERE WE THINKING THIS YEAR ?!!!!

What ? We won CL, and that what was different. The dream was over.

This game is a chance to play on Massimos pride again. Hopefully he'll get the hint.

...

As for the Bale, the guy is great, but I'm thinking right now, that he might be best suited for English league. The guy has speed/agility, and that is his main weapon. In Italy, we all know speed is nothing. In Italy, the tempo is too slow for guys like that. It's exactly the same with Biabiany who is super fast, and how many times he was able to use it in Serie A ?

In Serie A the tempo is too slow, and the teams have too much cover. When you skip one player, there is already 2 waiting for you. We play with higher deffensive line, and our game against Tottenham was quite specific. You take his speed away, and you get the player in Serie A and what he will be able to do.

Again, just going through the lineups, maybe only VDV and Bale would walk into our team, ah and Modric too. Its obvious the team is out of form and they actually utilised their strengths better than us, the injuries levelled the field for them maybe even tilting it towards them.

Their defence was
-Cudicini-
- Gallas-Kaboul -
- - - Jenas -- - -

1 goal vs that is not good enough.

I don't know if you are pinning the blame on the youngsters for tonight, but they had nothing to do with it, Bibs was the only young player who started the rest were all experience and have been with the club for several seasons (except Cast of course). Nwankwo probably isn't ready but Cou did well when he came on.

And I disagree more and more teams are looking at younger players look at Madrid's last transfer season: Khedira, Ozil, Di Maria and Pedro Leon, all with the exception of Pedro Leon are shining (and even he was playing good before he stoushed with Mou) then there's of course Arsenal and now even Man Utd are becoming more and more dependent on youngsters (Bebe and Obertan destroyed that Turkish no name club tonight).

I don't want us to become Arsenal but I definitely do not want us becoming Milan either lol

People who say Rafa out are over reacting but Benitez has to take some of the blame for tonight's performance. Tottenham are no pushovers- they have one of the best squads in the league (on par with Manchester United IMO). He should have kept the right side plugged as Bale was always going to be a threat (didn't he learn anything from the first leg? Or his time in the premier league last year?). He should have concentrated more on Inter than talk about Liverpool and Roy Hodgson. That said Inter desperately needed some fresh blood this summer. Football teams are like race cars, they need to be upgraded every season if they want to compete at the highest level. Hopefully something will be done about this in the next transfer window.

This was just too much man. I need some drug to make this shitty feeling go away. How can we be humiliated like that... Fuckin' Bale, man! I swear to God we should have the guy whacked gangster style. Can't get enough of saying FUCK FUCK FUCK tonight. This was Tottenham God damn it? What are we gonna do if we play against the heavyweights?

I don't even wanna start thinking about not qualifying the group... FUCK.

if you're neraz
K so straight up, as much as I want to strangle Maicon like everyone else; you have to admit it's pretty common knowledge he's not the best defender....and with Biabiany in front of him doesn't help much. Thennn......Muntari and Zanetti, no chemistry, we desperately needed Stankovic or Cambiasso, they count as 2 men for me. Here are my ratings.

Castellazzi - Trash
Maicon - Shit
Lucio - Whatever
Samuel - Shit
Chivu - Shit
Zanetti - Garbage
Muntari - Shit
Obi- Shit
Pandev - Shit
Biabiany- Shit
Eto'o - good when he got the ball, which was like twice
Sneijder - Whatever
Coutinho - Trash
Milito - Whatever

Did I miss anyone? If so, they're shit 2.

At least it was a group stage. We barely made it out of the group last year so...we'll see, but we definitely need signings in January.

Many of them were saying the same thing even before the season starts! Take it easy, it's just the the heat of the post-match. Rafael Benitez is the least guilty one in tonight match.

Hi Guys,

Not here to gloat and im sure some of you guys probabally dont want to chat, be assured im not trolling. I'd like a review of spurs' performance from the Inter fans POV over the two games, after all you're in a good position to judge quality.

Last year atm, we were on the brink of elimination also. Shit happens when u have to play Muntari-Zanetti combo in midfield + Obiora coming from the bench.

Should'a would'a could'a

We've been horrible 2 games on a trot now. But all is not lost still. We are in a good position to qualify, but It sure looks like we have to swallow that 2 place pride, again..

This time last year sneijder was your god

Bale's form is World-class, Messi standard, Maicon and Lucio are the worlds best RB and CB respectively, he made a mockery of us, you pressed excellently and played perfectly.

last year:-

serie a: 1st 22 points
CL: LAST 3 points

total points 25

this year:-

serie a: 2nd 18 points
CL: 2nd 7 points (same as first)

total points 25

so STFU

Technically we had 5 points at this point and were in a tie for first place, but I am still with you...all this whining needs to stop. We are using 5th string players, I don't know what these people expect...

Bale is pretty good, van der Vaart is pretty good, the rest are pretty much around average & above average

No, I don't put the blame on them.

I was just trying to make a picture for people, who thought you can have the best thing from both worlds. Have a great team, who has enough expierience to compete on the highest level, and at the same time have an average of 20 years old in the squad.

It can't be done at a club at Inter. Unless you give 2-3 years of time in which you are not told to win anything.

That's the point. This year you see some part of it. We have to rely on Philippe, Biabiany and we all see, it's not exactly clicking.

And that's just 2 guys. Imagine, having 1 youngster in every formation.
