The irony is that Lukaku leaving is the same as Zlatan's transfer. But nowhere near the effect, either on the pitch or in the aftermath of the sale.

One was a one man team that ended up getting us a world class forward in Eto'o plus the funds for triplete catalyst Sneijder, the other was amplified by everyone else's work and his transfer barely returned us a loan+ deal for Correa despite the high transfer figure.

Ronaldo's transfer is more similar to Hakimi from the recent ones at least for those last 1-2 months.

Cannavaro was a complete asshole but the word traitor should be reserved for people who actually stood for something here. He didn't and all he cared about was playing for Italy. He could have said something but instead he willingly got blackmailed...

Zlatan was always a mercenary. He never hid that.
Could you elaborate more on Cannavaro? I honestly don't remember ever getting the vibe he was playing bad on purpose like others have suggested. Thanks

I think this is something that was caught on tape during the Calciopoli?

Hang on a minute cos it’s about time someone calls you out on your bullshit. You’re right Lukaku’s transfer is the same as Zlatan’s but how can you say the aftermath is different on the pitch?

Without Zlatan we won everything there is to win, we’ll see what happens with Lukaku. Also off the pitch how is it Lukaku’s fault that Suning is a broke ass bitch and only let us spend 15% of what he brought us in. Under normal circumstances Vlahovic would have replaced Lukaku

Well, I'd leave you chasing your tail there but please tell us where did the Lukaku money go.

He was pretty much told to pretend he was injured and other stuff like that.

I don't remember exactly the details of how it happened but when we sold him we were under the impression that he had like 1-2 years of football left. No other club was interested at the time and Juventus were lowballing us. It was an opportunity to get rid of a big salary that wasn't paying its dividends. And Carini was a very bad exchange piece for him.

Stories are different, but us fans loved both the same, yes?
Define "the same".

Was any of your friends jealous that our team had Lukaku? I know they were pissed off when I boasted that we had Ronaldo. Compute this the other way around and you'll feel the difference in magnitude between the two.
