Tupac is the greatest rapper in the world. Not like today's rappers where they talk I mean sing about money, sex and killing each other. I have all of Tupac's album and they're certainly unique... Some people say he's not dead, but he IS. They showed us his pics with 6 (6?) bullets in his body.

R.I.P. Tupac

He aint the greatest. All wu tang clan members rull, and wu better then 2 pac.

Never the less he was great. But i am one of the people who think he aint dead.U know why?Cause 2 pac was about to go jail,he was in a trial process cause he rapied a girl ,and he was loosing the trial, and he would have gotten lots of years of jail.So faking his own death was a smart way out of this. And i think i know were he got the ideea: Makaveli was his mentor...got it now?:D

He's dead but he'll always be the GOAT too me.

If I somehow manage to get into Heaven (seems unlikely at this point lol), the first question I'm gonna ask is "Who killed Tupac?"

I remember back in summer 96 - June.. Tupac was over in Milano, and I was staying for the month with my cousins. My eldest cousin over there was so pumped about Pac being there, he was going crazy. My Aunts friend had it sorted so he could go over to the Versace fashion show that Pac was in. We all went along with them & to cut it short, spent about 5-10 mins chatting to him.

People say all the bad shit in the world about the guy, but in those 5-10 mins he showed warmth u dont get from a lot of people. I didn't really know who he was 'til then (I was only 9!!) but after that I started taking interest.

Love his music.. Biggie had the flow but Pac had the lyrics. Gotta respect the guy. at some of the shit being talked in this thread already. Exactly the reason I didn't start this thread previously ;)

As a person and in his raps yes,he did inspire alot of of black people to figh for their rights.

RIP to him and everything but i never liked the guy as a rapper,i never liked his music, and to me it seemed that he was a bit fake, like he was actin all thugged out and gangster then he goes and says that we need peace,i dont know, but yah alot of people love him and respect him,so good for them.

Also the statement on the Wu better than pac,to a person that actually like pac's music he will say that this is bullshit, but to a person like me who actually doesnt like pac's music will say that is true, its all a matter of taste and opinion.

oh what a load of garbage.

he was a decent rapper in his day and its partially his fault why so many little punks out there are wannabe this and that, partially I mean because his message has been tampered with by a lot of no good losers.

to say he's even in the top 20 of all time is a laugh.

well said man..finally!!!

he was a good rapper, that's about it.He was in no aspect outstanding.

lyrics, content, style, originality, whatever?? hell..Ice Cube, KRS, Rakim, Kool G Rap, Nas, Big Daddy, Chuck D, shall I continue??
In terms of flow and everything Biggie owned him too..

When he was alive, no one even thought or considered calling him the greatest of all time. After his death and all the bullshit fed by MTV, people called him GOAT.

I even take Nas over him.

I've been listening to Hip-hop practically my entire life and in no way is Pac on the same level as KRS, Rakim or others in terms of lyrics or flow but his passion, his hard work and his charisma is truly what made him stand above the rest. I dare you to say Me against the World isn't a classic.

Nas? Don't make me laugh dude. One really good album (Illmatic) a bunch of complete crap in between and and a decent Stillmatic and you're hailed as one of the greatest.

Passion and Hard Work?? Great...then I guess Marco Materrazzi is the greatest defender on earth. He got passion and is hard working.

Man..it's about talent. Biggie as an example was maybe the most talented..he just did his thing without needing much time. Just sit down, listen to beat, studio..finished.

Pac did like what?? 5000 songs a year?? And non of the matches in terms of lyrics or anything the true greats of Rap.

Me against the World a classic?? Yeah..depending on what a classic is. To me Illmatic is a classic and Nas definetly got a rhyme gift and a way to play with words few others got.Me against the World is a very good album, but that's about it.
He had problems with his record label, judge him when he didn't have that or worked with his producers(Premier, Kid Capri on his album etc.)

Whatever Nas did on Illmatic is unmatched by 2Pac at any point of his career.

That's what matters.

To give you a football equivalent:

I don't care how many great games Lothar Matthaeus had in World Cups and at Inter and Bayern, for whatever it's worth, he wasn't a 10th of the player Maradona, Cruyff or Zidane were(cause Nas ain't a Maradona of Rap).
It's about quality, not quantity.

Oh sht!!! A tupac thread on fora Inter??? I never knew he had such a world-wide audience!. Catanha u dont know sht. 2pac IS one of the greteast.

When he was alive, no one even thought or considered calling him the greatest of all time. After his death and all the bullshit fed by MTV, people called him GOAT.

When he was alive, no one EXCEPT those who listened and loved his his music considered him great. The media only shed light on him. Biggie (even thou hes briliant too) loved to rap about sex and how he was poor and now he's rich. @pac was more of a precher, even thou he also had some of that sht. Biggie's lyrics are betta than 2pac's, used to make alot of it up as he went along, thats why 2pac's usually mean more and inspire. Plus, 2pac had it harder growin than biggie. I stay away from nas, dont know shit about him.

Tupac was the greatest rapper that ever lived, Biggie didn't even make it up to Tupacs knees as far as talent goes. Sure there are some who beat Pac as far as flow go, but if you measure vocab, lyrics, message, showmanship and charisma there is noone that compares to Pac.

Catanha, Tupac not even in the top 20? Now THAT is funny.

He wasn't a rapist, he was never convicted of rape nor did he ever confess to it, also the girl who accused him of it changed her story many times in court. She even admitted to having consensual sex with him at the end of the trial having first denied it. Furthermore there was no forceable entry, no seemen sample and in the legends own words "No Nuthin" so I think It's wrong to label a dead man a rapist when there never was any proof.

On another note, Tupac went to prison with the charge of forcefull sodomy and unlawfull imprisonment. Basicly he was charged because some morons who was at his hotel room partying raped the girl.

And yes, I know Rakim. Truly another legend but I still like Pac better.;)
