Honduras gotten totally and utterly raped by Norway 12-0. 1 kid scored 9 fucking goals... that is 3 fucking hat tricks.

They got scored on 19 times in this cup. Next worst team was Tahiti that got scored on 12 in group A.

So far the quality of this cup hasn't been very good and no one really stands out. These dudes all look super green.

I looked at the teams qualified and makes no sense Europe gets 5 spots every other region gets 4. I know SA gets way way too many for only have 10 teams but suck a dick all our teams qualified to round 2. Ecuador was the best youth team in the SA qualifiers and Knocked out Brazil who hasn't been to the last 2 and Venezuela that finished 2nd last WC.

This cup really needs to have 32 teams but another glaring SA+NA needs to be 1 region. 8 teams between them is insane that is 1/3 the teams at this cup

Uruguay 1-3 Ecuador. Some of these players are very, very special. Palacios (the left back), Plata, Rezabala, maybe even Campana (top scorer and mvp of the south american tournament but hasn't scored yet in this world cup), all have good chances of having special carreers. The only weakness I see in this team is they can get very cocky sometimes (they're fucking good tbh) but as they mature I expect big things from some of them

For me Ecuador was the most exciting team at qualifiers. Argentina and Colombia got in just because of luck. Like was said I really like Campana but feel the euro teams are too racist to buy any of these guys. How many of the Venezuelan players went to Europe after finishing 2nd last time around. And many get away with my grandma/pa was Italian/Swiss or Spanish bullshit

They will end up in Mexico and maybe Argentina or MLS

well, moisés ramírez (the gk), palacios (future star lb imo), plata (rw), already play in european teams (real sociedad, willem II and sporting, respectively). Campana will definitely move to europe after the world cup, and I'm pretty sure he has an EU passport. Rezabala was heavily rumoured to Ajax. So I think the most talented ones already moved past passport issues

I have no idea about Alvarado or Cifuentes tho. There's also Stiven Plaza who's injured, already plays for Real Zaragoza

Campana if euro teams actually scouted South America other then watching the Argie or Brazilian U20(didn’t qualify) then they’d actually get the better players.

It’s not that they will not move to Europe it’s that they will have to go to smaller clubs and prove their worth before bigger teams chase them. I think it’s actually good for the National teams that they go to smaller clubs that way they develop better. If they come to a club like Inter they are fucked.

Yeah, I think Plata, Ramírez and Palacios all made smart moves to clubs that will let them develop. Palacios is already a fixed starter in Erediviese and should be our LB for Qatar qualifiers. If Rezabala moves to Ajax, even better. I'm not sure where Campana will end up, but I hope he makes a smart move too. Moving to a club like Inter is not a good idea.

Maybe make the cup u21 so we could get better players here. I mean I really only followed the Colombian team but for the most part a lot of these dudes are retired 5 years later or don’t even make it. Would be cool to see the actual future NT play like the U21 Italy roster

At 18/19 these guys are in 2nd divison or reserve players

As for the games I have seen I really liked New Zealand’s goalie(giant of a man) and #10 Singth.
