Yeah, twice they played a different formation than a 3-5-2. I have a feeling they'll try to play 4-3-3 more, they even said that half a year ago.. slow transformation tho

Anyhow, I think if Rube could keep the high tempo they could win CL, but they can't. Both first halves against Real Madrid and Bayern they dominated, but they were very wasteful. With Bayern first leg, they played in slow tempo, cause they weren't used to that kind of pace. In second leg, in first half Conte discovered his mistake and increased the tempo, but they did nothing with their chances, and tired in the second.

Fitness levels of Italian teams are very low, and that's going to harm them. Napoli is the one exclusion.


Also, I don't understand why Conte never practises this formation domestically, but just sticks to it in Europe. If they played that well the first 2 times with that formation, imagine what they could do if they practiced with it.

Checked the hightlights now and what a good penalty by Vidal. If it were me, I would take a penalty in that manner every single time. It is unstoppable, and I'd rather compete with myself and my odds on hitting the target than with the keeper.

Also Buffon He is utter shit now. And that also says how good the Juve team is if they can keep winning in Italy in spite of him between the posts.
