I think that's always the case. Atletico has real supporters and fans while Real Madrid has a lot of gloryhunters and just wannabe fans. Last year when I was in the wembley at the cl final it was the same situation. BVB fans were way louder all the time. Even outside the stadium you heard BVB fans cheering that they were at least in the final while bayern fans were just standing quietly in the corner. You can't expect a really good fanbase from such a succesfull and big club like Real Madrid and co.

Hm I wouldn't say it has to do with love for the club, more with his mentality as a Player. He would do that in every club at any time because he is a fighter. I think those "stars" have a right not to play. As much as it is very passionate to play with a broken rib, it is also really stupid. You can hurt yourself even more. And that's why maybe C.Ronaldo wouldn't play with a broken rib, because he has a big career and he'd rather not play for a month or so than to hurt himself badly and be out for half a year or something like that.

Ronaldo played with an injury in the final. You can't just assume a player wouldn't play because they look a certain way.

I didn't assume that. Ronaldo had a minor injury and I believe every footballer would have played anyway if it was for a cl final with that injury. You got me wrong. I totally agree with you, that just because someone is a "star" he still can have more passion than others.

I think it's other kind of financial problems, some kind of wrong doing.

City and PSG were fined for next season due to FFP, it's completely different problem that they are able to deal with those fines rather easily.

Edit:I just checked, it is due to financial fair play, allegedly Red Star has over 50m debt which is a lot (for example relative debt is much bigger than for 'bigger' or 'richer' clubs, 50m is much more to Red Star than it is to PSG). Allegedly some players were giving money from themselves for club's lunches etc.
