What's that shitty little country with Valletta playing? Pathetic.

I always wonder where do Valletta FC train and play their match? The entire town is full of buildings.

AFAIK, in Malta, teams do not have their own assigned stadiums, seeing that there are only a handful of 'good' ones, and only 2(?) which are UEFA-approved. So these stadiums host all the league matches. Don't forget the main island is only 28km long, so there's no problem of long travel times. Training happens wherever clubs can find. Also, there is no professional league, and all footballers have day jobs, only training in the evening, so they can use school facilities etc.

Then again, I never really gave two shits about the local football scene, so what do I know? :yao:

P.S. Someone fix the thread title before I kill myself.

I know there arent stadiums for each club but I cant even think where they are gonna train. Most pitches are for 5 or 7 a side.

If you say there is no professional leagues, then how do they qualify to europe and it is on newspaper every week about the league.

I know for example at least one club used my school's football pitch for training. It was 11-a-side.

Semi-pro.

It seems like Lokomotiv Moscow will be in pot 1. What a joke. How come? Russian clubs have not done that well in the CL to deserve a team in pot 1.

Because after the latest reform the champions of the highest rated countries in the ranking are automatically in pot 1.

Well, I don't really mind getting Loko from pot 1 in our group so it's not all that bad.

The only two teams I do not want in my group are Barcelona and City... all others - PSG, Real Madrid, Bayern.... bring them on
