The fact that this blonde instagram hoe gained 1,5 million followers over night makes me sick, and proves to me that I am unfortunately part of a generation of fucking morons.

This is just some american bitch (no disrespect to our american posters), that doesn’t give a flying fuck about the sport we all love. Yeah the final was the worst one I have ever seen, but this is just an extremely selfish act of self promotion.
I find it disgusting, that spitting on football, in the biggest game of the year, gets celebrated like that. This is just some generic Instagram hoe, that only cares about herself and doesn’t give a shit about the people who give her likes. It’s like nobody has ever seen a good looking girl in real life, jeez christ man.
Everybody who supports this shit should be fucking ashamed of himself. Well done, fucking social media loser generation, well fucking done.

What the hell happened to people being famous, because they have talent. Shit like this makes me think I was born too late.

Reality shows were a thing all over the world since the turn of the century. Most of the current spoiled brats weren't even conceived as ideas yet. So cannot really put the blame on this generation, they just inherited this shitfest.

No opposition player has completed a dribble past Virgil van Dijk in any of his last 64 apps in all competitions for Liverpool FC

Many players have dribbled past VVD, it's just a stupid stat that measures something different than what it says. It's a stat for tackles lost, VVD didn't lose a tackle this season.

Sterling, Rashford, Sane (when he won penalty at Anfield), and Son (Yesterday's game) all dribbled past him and that's just without even searching. Andre Gomes also dribbled past him.

If you don't try to tackle, you will never be dribbled past using these stats.

Stop demystifying stats. You're ruining football for some people.

Zlatan, 2009 : "I joined Barca to win CL" > Inter champions 2010

Coutinho, 2018 : "I joined Barca to win CL" > Liverpool champions 2019

EhcIxRb1559459425.gif

I saw some tweet yesterday from a Culé account making some joke about how all their previous Champions League winning opponents ultimately failed to win the tournament (until Liverpool won, as it turned out) and I couldn't help but wonder, like, all those years where you had lost recently, Real Madrid went on to win it. In three of those four years, last year the exception, Real Madrid had beaten the team Barcelona failed to beat.

So what were you really doing with that tweet other than incidentally reminding everyone about your rival's successes?

Maybe my standards are too high, I dunno, but looking at some pictures, I don't find her particularly attractive. But there are of course many thirsty people out there and, much like with actual thirst that will drive some people to the brink of drinking their own piss for fluids, just the sight of any woman with a little more body exposure than usual is enough to send some parts of them a bit out of control.

To your last paragraph, though, people like Paris Hilton became famous with no actual skills to speak of well before the social media generation took foot-hold, so while I empathize with how you feel there, it's also not exactly new.

But I agree with your overall message and felt the same way seeing that yesterday. If I want to see women, more-exposed women at that, I'll go on PornHub or something like that (though, to be honest, porn does absolutely nothing for me, but you get the idea). If I'm watching football, I want to watch fucking football. That's how my priorities outline themselves.

(Lastly, you don't need to apologize for the American part because, well, despite her incredibly Polish-sounding name, she is American. You're just stating a fact there. But, maybe I've written here before, I've definitely written it elsewhere, I will say that the anti-American gatekeeping over at /r/soccer is something that is ingratiating. This place lives up to the Inter motto of "Fratelli del Mondo" very well; no one gives a shit where anyone's from or where anyone lives, we just care about the football team we love.)

I could have sworn that Jan Vertonghen said back in 2013 or some shit than Milan is the bigger club in the city than us, which is why I was rooting for Liverpool last night. Can't seem to find any news about it now though, so maybe I was high or some shit. :\

Anyways, don't really care much about the club nor players, but I'm happy for Klopp.

Very well said. Also, I didn’t find her that attractive either. Belly and all.
This instant fame of dumb people is getting out of control tho...the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen about dumb people getting famous bcoz of so social media shit, is that cracker girl from Dr.Phil show, “cash me ouside, howbout that”.....that dumb redneck bitch is a millionaire now!! Absolutely disgusting thing. Shit like that only happens here in US. ANYWHERE else in the world, she would have been sent to mental hospital.

We have television shows that glorify, among other things, ass-backwards redneck families, teen pregnancy, lack of birth control and, of course, the fucking Kardashians. There are some dark corners on the American television market.

Vertonghen being a massive cunt is the main reason I was cheering for Liverpool yesterday. He deffo said something along those lines.

This tournament should really change its formula. I find it extremely idiotic that the teams across Europe fight for a whole season to just have access to champions League, only for it to last a mere 6 matches for half of them.

The minimum number of matches for everyone should be doubled.

I liked how it was like 13 years ago or something. U had another group stage with the best 16 teams of Europe.

The concern, obviously, is fixture congestion and overloading the plates for the players. This is one of those things that, as a fan, sounds like a no-brainer, but the players and coaches would probably protest vehemently against.

Because I do agree. The fact that the average European top league plays a 38-game season to determine it's champion, but the CL plays a 13-game schedule to do so, is something that has gradually come to not sit right with me.

But how do you add those extra six games in? I mean, where do you find the time to do so? I really don't know.

Yeah that's another point you are bringing: the winner of the most important tournament only has to go through 13 matches.

I would cut the teams of the national leagues: I mean, do we really need 20 teams? Just by reducing them by 2, it's 4 fewer matches of Serie A/premier League/etc., so you have already found the space for 2/3 of those extra 6 matches.

He's coaching Tottenham are we expecting him to win the CL?

Not really, the more you water down the competition the more it loses it's prestige.

It's always something on FIF. First Robben and Ribery aren't world class, then Mbappe and De Gea are hugely overrated, and Klopp and Pochettino aren't doing good enough.

For everybody in the world of football outside of football fans it's clear that Poch and Klopp are doing great and that we should give them props. People laughing at Wenger being fourth are the same that will now shit on Poch even tho it's been clear for more than just this season that he helped get Spurs on a another level.

Shame about that early penalty. The game would have been very different without it.
