But Kenny Smith is rather knowledgeable, they just won't let him speak up as much because it's funny to joke on him, Charles Barkley is an enigma as sometimes he speaks the truth and the rest of it he's just acting like a mainstream bot, and Shaq prefers to be a clown than an analyst. But whenever Shaq talks ball, you can tell that he knows his shit.
I wouldnt' say the football show is far different. You can tell Henry knows his shit, Carragher typically doesn't but has past experience knowledge and Micah doesn't really know much, he's just pure emotions and banter, which is why he's the most likeable of them all.

10 years of FIFShaq and Barkley saying stupid things over and over again is not a comedy to me. They are just making fools of themselves and basketball is not benefitting from that shit in any way. On the other hand what what this group on CBS is doing is comedy show. And they are also not spitting nonsense without no reason.

If it's made too much "knowledgeable" people won't watch it except for those 2% sports nerds. It's bread and games.
Whenever I watch the show with Henry & the others it's always Henry who knows football best but the rest of them aren't some deep thinkers. Henry has about 2 minutes to say his serious stuff and the rest is jokes and laughter.
