I wrote about this before the City game (had an aged-like-milk Milan joke as well which I won't refer back to, lol), but the Man City game was, mathematically speaking, the least important game we'd play in the league phase, quite possibly least important game we'll play all season. It was in Manchester, so unlikely to win, and it was the first game of the league phase, so plenty of time to make up ground for an early setback. Anything we got from that game would be a bonus, nothing much was expected.

Nothing surprising there. They are not a winning team, especially defensively speaking, nor do they care about that. They are mainly a springboard or a platform for younger players and coaches with ultra offensive/attacking approach to show something. If they stumble on some trophy doing that, then great, but it's not a priority. Which is really a shame given their fans. They legit have the best fan base in europe.

If I am being objective, they don't have anyone to do what Koopmeiners can do for them, but still they spent so much this season. Like I don't understand why spent so much on Douglas Luiz; their midfield is shit, like they cannot control, cannot make plays, Vlahović plays like shit to help the team LOL I hope they keep it up like this.

Especially that Anton for Gittens sub early in second half was mind blowing. It fucked up with team balance and then he kept making weird subs in order to fix that balance by constantly changing formations. Guy is out of his depth.

As for Juve, if Allegri had these performances and these results gobbi would ask for his head. But now Motta is hyped as a tactical mastermind, being praised for defensive stability.
