based on my last 10 seasons in football manager:

-1 season - 17 points top 8, 8 points top 24
-2 - 16 points top 8, 8 points top 24
-3 - 17 points top 8, 8 points top 24
-4 - 16/10
-5 - 18/9
-6 - 18/9
-7 - 16/9
-8 - 18/10
-9 - 17/8
-10 - 16/10

obviously just a game, etc, but hopefulyl give severyone a feel. If we win 6 games, we'll make top 8 basically. If we fail to make top 24, I'd call it a disaster.

We got City which is whatever (I choose and I'll sing the blues if I want). I want them just to play again after that CL final. It is away game and nobody is expecting anything.
We got Leipzig at home which is perfect. You can only debate that Borussia at home could be better draw from pot 1.
Pot 2 is tough you can say. But Arsenal at home and Bayer away is a great schedule.
Pot 3...two weakest teams with perfect schedule (cause we don't need to visit Belgrade). If we don't underestimate them. There is no weak team in CL.
We got Sparta away and they are one of the few weakest in that pot. And we got Monaco, imporantly at home.

This is great.

I have no idea how many points we need to secure top 8 but we should aim to get like 16-17+

no balkan team is doing shit at home or away brother.

I really hope I am wrong, but I truly feel we got a disaster draw. Leipzig at home is good all else considered, but others are so tricky. The first 4 i mean.

So 1-8 qualifies directly to round of 16, how about 9-24? Is it predetermined or is there gonna be another draw?

They go to knock out. Think it's a draw 9-16 Vs 17-24

Draw looks like Inter has a decent chance to advance.

It's a hard group of games for us, but that could be a blessing in disguise. If ever we wanted to change the perception of Inter, it's this season. If we beat two of Leverkusen, City or Arsenal, that's a nice way to announce that we are contenders.

No Spanish team in our group of teams gives me hope. The only team I also wanted was PSG.

You’re a generational hater. I have to give you that. Very consistent. lol
Its the arrogance I don't like from him, so when I see people like arnautovic and santon and balotelli won more CLs than him I feel very happy

Okay I'll go my analysis:

Pot 1:
City away
Leipzig home

+ real test in City away, Leipzig one of the worst from the pot 1 so lucky there
- no big revenue home match from this pot (as Leipzig might not even sell out Meazza, can't bump up ticket prices as not a big name club etc), would have liked the other way around, sporting-wise too obviously

Pot 2:
Arsenal home
Leverkusen away

+ nice home match with probably nice gate revenues (compensates the lack of gate magnet opponent from pot 1), possibility to shut up the EPL/Arsenal fans
- both one of the best teams in the pot so bad luck here

Pot 3:
Crvena zvezda home
Young Boys away

+ both possibly from the weaker side of this pot, avoided away match in Belgrade
- can't find negatives

Pot 4:
Monaco home
Sparta Prague away

+ I take rather this Monaco home and Prague away than the other way around, avoided Aston Villa and Girona (though not sure how good Girona will be this season)
- can't find negatives, maybe Monaco could have been easier but them being home match, it's okay

I would add that the actual schedule of these matches will be as important as the opponents themselves.

Dinamo is always doing something (like before Mamić tyranny) since criminal, who turns everything into shit,is away from the country (and now finally from the club). Beating Atalanta 4-0 at home. Beating Chelsea 1-0 at home. Both in CL. R16 in EL Beating Benfica 1-0 at home in first leg. QF in Europa league beating Tottenham 3-0 at home. Beating Sevilla 1-0 at home in first leg after group stage. Beating Betis 1-0 away and then 1-1 draw at home right after the group stage. All of that in last 6 season since criminal fucked off from the country.

So yeah, beating let's say Milan at home will not surprise anyone here.

This is a tricky draw for Inter for sure but this is literally what we want. To play against the best. City and Bayer + us...3 teams that played the most beautiful football last season. Arsenal is strong. This is still a very manageable gruop to get into the top 8 and prove we are among the best. You have some exciting teams to prove how good we are and then also enough teams that we should take points from them if we are serious enough. Great draw.
