If they don't meet at an earlier stage there are no excuses for the two Italian teams not to make it to the final. Level of competition is so bad.

First time ever for a team from Kosovo to play in European competition haha. They had a great display in these matches but sadly experience let them down big time, otherwise they shown so much quality and talent. One of my best friends and we played together before a few years ago, he scored against both Sivasspor and Slavia Prague.

Is it me or is this tournament a bit too worthless?

It's gonna be even worse from 2024-25 onwards as teams won't drop down from the Europa League anymore.

Why is it worthless exactly?
It gives teams that could have had a deep EC/CL run a chance to play in advanced stages of European football rather than play 2nd or even 3rd fiddle to a handful of teams from even less leagues.

Last season it was probably the moat interesting competition out of the three and the only reason I leave a minor window is due to Frankfurt and their fans.

CL is becoming more and more a crappy, closed competition that most neutral don't want to watch but just do because they learned that's what they should be doing.

I disagree about the CL becoming crappy. It's still super entertaining.

Maybe worthless isn't the right word, but there are a lot of dead matchups even at this stage of the competition. They should definitely allow teams to drop down from higher competitions, otherwise it's not as sweet a victory to win the whole thing.
