If United doesn't change much in the summer, they don't seem too dangerous. I mean they don't seem dangerous at all today.

Hoping for a few torpedoes by the Yellow Submarine in the PKs. But I'm afraid, Man Utd is lucky as fuck, so the submarine will be sunk :/

I could not care less about the result, but this was an awful football match.

lol De Gea. Dude had 11 chances and couldn’t save a single penalty. The team did their job, unfortunately he couldn’t.

Villarreal GK was just as bad tbf.

Submarines get their first trophy.

De Gea has not saved a penalty in 5 years.

This isn't good news for us at all. Villarreal in Pot 1 pushes United into Pot 2 which pushes Borussia Dortmund into Pot 3. Now we have to hope Chelsea wins the CL.

what kind of expectations do u have for Inter next season? After the fire sale we'll be happy to finish 3rd in CL and in Conference league after the end of the season.

I'm not at all convinced that we're going to have a fire sale, and I fully expect Inter to be able to make it past the group stage, especially with Conte gone. Of course it wouldn't help if we get a group of death with Ajax, Dortmund or Leipzig in Pot 3.

If Inter is afraid of those teams, that shows that we are in big trouble.

Those teams are strong and a threat to any club in Europe, and considering our recent history in CL and even EL we're not in a position to turn our noses up at anybody.

Watching the shoot out, I should say those were some great penalties.

De Gea though :yao: At least Rulli was close to saving some.

Paul Scholes before the match

"You're playing Villarreal here. You're playing a team that finished seventh in a really poor La Liga."

"Think of Real Madrid and Barcelona, how bad have they been?"

"Manchester United should win this game comfortably."

Scholes is right, no matter what happened. United had almost all of their players ready, I believe Maguire was the only starter missing. It's unacceptable that they could create more against this Villarreal side.
