There's a hefty compensation if i'm not mistaken. Also perhaps, currently there is no proper candidate available to replace ETH, or simply no top coach willing to take over this mismanaged team at the moment.

FIF Special OnesI still believe De Ligt being sold for so much money every time is a scam. He is just not worth that money. Not even the 60 United paid for him, and especially not the 85 Juve paid for him.
Is he better than Bijol? Sure, I would say so. But never worth that kind of money. He isn't a bad player, but he really needs somebody reliable next to him.

not complete bs but strange to say this. In the 2nd team and in the youth he played as a midfielder but more as a right half. in the 1st team he never played at “10”. Playing as a right back in the half spaces is of course very different than as a 10. But Ten Hag seems to have completely lost it when I look at his choices and interviews.
