Ronda is jut something else, though something she said a few years ago makes a lot of sense. She has so much more experience than most other fighters in MMA just because of her background. They've had something like 10 total career fights, whereas she's probably had 300+ in judo, a huge difference.

Definitely can't wait to see Belfort go for the title, the first UFC fight I ever saw was Belfort v Wanderlei, so he's a big part of why I love the sport.

Apparently Anderson is expected to be out from training for 3-6 months now the surgery is done, though obviously who knows whether he'll try to fight again. I think if it's possible he'll push Dana for the Roy Jones fight if he is ever recovered enough to fight again.

10-15 years ago Jones would have destroyed anyone, hope he doesn't do something stupid and actually set up a big fight for himself, he's almost 45 & finished ffs.

But even at this age, he'd probably beat the shit out of them in a boxing fight.. Apparently he wants Nick Diaz though

him and Anderson have been bugging Dana to allow them to have a fight in UFC for ages, would be insane but could be pretty cool at the same time. Though he'd surely be destroyed by Anderson in MMA, boxing would be a completely different story though.

Yeah, both in their own sport would dominate one another.. A boxers punch is something else, in the ring Anderson or Diaz wouldn't last long, same goes for Jones being in the octagon.. Even sonnen said, it's stupid to think Dana would allow this to happen... Would be badass if it did though :eek:blivious:

Can't remember this much hype for someone apart from Katie Taylor at the Olympics. Although in all honesty if he wasn't Irish I'd just think he's a massive bellend.

I'd like to put my name on the Shaun bandwagon while we're at it.

Seriously, though... Is this the funny bastard that talks shit all the time? One of my mates has shown me some of the promo work he's done and it's awesome.

Yeah, he talks absolute bollocks but then this is the reaction he got recently in Dublin:
So it gets even non-fans of the sport to tune in.

He spent the majority of his last fight calling his opponent a hillbilly then goes and knocks him out in about 90 seconds.

I've always hated Chad Mendes. Aldo will kick his ass, although he has a point as McGregor's wrestling is questionable/untested. As for McGregor v Aldo I think that would be a great fight.

This boy is legit. Excited for his title shot against Aldo. Aldo is the real deal though

Crazy, I hope he's at least smart enough to fight at light heavy.

As for Aldo v Conor - I think that could go either way. Aldo has amazing leg kicks, and I'm sure his jiu jitsu and wrestling is superior to Conor's, but momentum and confidence is certainly on Conor's side.

Although I do think Conor is lucky he isn't fighting Frankie Edgar who's wrestling would just nullify Conor's game.
