Please god no, I cant stand Figo being in the starting line up. If he does he should never play more then 45 minutes, thats a fact...not an opinion lol.

This is the game of the season for us and yeah, it's coz Scudetto is already 70/80% wrapped up. But that's if we keep on doing well and respect each and every teams in the upcoming games. As for the draw against Udinese, it's sad that the record had to stop in our home game but it had to stop on one day and thankfully, Milan wasn't the team to take this credit.

Too bad that our starting central duo will be missing this game and that's a very big loss for us. Thankfully, we have got two very good central midfieders in J.Zanetti and Stankovic, along with Dacourt who have had a wonderful season with us.

I am kinda worried if Figo can be of help to us in the big game. He has been failing to do well against the likes of small Serie teams, so what can we expect against Valencia ?? Anywaz, he's had those rare games where he has done quite well and I very much hope that this will be his game COZ he has to do alot than what he is doing. There's another option for us in Recoba but sadly you never know with him and it's quite risky as well. If not, then there's one more interesting option and I do think that Mancini had it in his mind as well.

I think Maxwell starting on the left either in the midfield of at LB is a good idea but Grosso will be nothing but trouble for us in that position.

Those are two left backs there covering the left wing. We have to go there to win or atleast earn a 2-2 draw, so we can't afford to play the waiting game.

I'm a valencia fan, but I really dont want the game to be ruined with all tese injuries. i wuld rather face a fully fit inter than one that is depleted.
That having been said, I really think adriano's injury has just helped your cause. Crespo is a MUCH MUCH better finisher, and is the best person to put whatever chances you make away.
I was actually partly hoping for Adriano to start, as I rate crespo as a much more dangerous player than him.
The news from our end is that baraja, vicente and del horno are fit, but i highly doubt del horno will start this game. he hasnt played a game all season, and has zero match fitness.
The thing that I am concerned about is the loss of our captain, albelda. The guy is a rock in the midfield, one of the best defensive midfielders in the world(ppl laughed when i said this last time), and we will REALLY miss him. baraja is a very good backup, but marchena is a central defender-converted to a midfielder.
As i said right as soon as the draw was made, your best chance is to go for the wings - specially if flores starts miguel on the right wing. That is where your goal will come from, if you get one.
We will of course try to expose ur central midfield weakness,, Baraja is a superb long-shot taker, and regularly scores from outside the box when in form.
To stop Vicente on the left wing, i think only Zanetti can do the job. Vicente is too good for any of the other defenders. Our right wing is the lightly weaker one, with angulo and joaquin not being as good as vicente, and your left-backs(except grosso) should be able to control this, as long as they dont attack too much.
If i was mancini, I would probably man-mark Vicente. Zanetti on Vicente. I would leave your left flank free to attack, to expose miguels defensive weakness. Alternatively if Curro Torres starts, he is slightly better defensively, but still no god at right back, and makes the occasional mistake.
Im not going to make a prediction, even though i think i know whats going to happen. lets just hope for a good game, and hopefully no fights and red cards.
I would hate to see this game ruined by a red card incident.

Maxwell and Grosso are in a good form and they have what it takes to get our offense going,I really hope they start.

I seriously think it will be Stan,Dacourt and JZ behind Figo .I just hope to God than Mancio doesnt make the same mistake as last year and keep a player who isnt performing on the field and make neccessary changes in the last 5 minutes.

Me? Being negative where did you get that idea Khalifa?

I just dont think Grosso has been good enough for this Inter side to warrant a starting spot. I dont care about the fact that he is actually a defender his defensive abilities have never convinced me. Plus with an extreme lack of useful crosses he is nothing but dead weight when he is on the pitch for us.

I would rather Maxwell get that position. Have Figo start the game and see what happens from there. Figo mostly drifts to the right. Which will take advantage of the space left by Vicente, allowing Maicon to defend more with his size and speed. Vicente is usually kind of slow when he gets back from injury lets hope that is still the case this time around.

If by some luck we go into the second half a goal up. Then Mancini can take off Figo bring in Burdisso or Cordoba (whoever is on the bench) and shuffle things around a bit. If Burdisso comes in he can go into the midfield and Stan can move up. Alternatively, he can go at LB and Maxwell can move up. If it is Cordoba then he can goes straight into the CD and the aforementioned changes for Burdisso.

I personally think our midfield is too weak to handle this one and it will take Stan and Ibra to combine with Maicon to have the best games of their respective careers to get past this one.

Valencia will have to commit some serious errors but I still see this one ending in another draw and Inter yet again going out on the away goals rule.

I agree with a lot of ur points, but I think that you should go with a defensive right back, and an offensive left back. Vicente isnt overhyped at all...he really is dangerous, and every cross from him is pretty much perfect for villa and moro.
I dont know THAT much about inter players...it seems like most of you want maicon to be a major player in this game - can he play on the left wing, or is he confined to the right?
figo starting either right wing or center will get chewed by moretti or baraja/marchena.
