Read a report last night that Inzaghi wants him to be a permanent fixture in the first team this season.

I am not sure how true that is and it certainly has not been repeated on here.

Different positions. Carboni can play as a LWB.

His brother Franco is a left-back. Valentín is an attacking midfielder/ forward.
That is what I thought when I posted my question in the Casadei thread.

Why does Inzagh allegedly prefer a player, in this case, Valentin Carboni, to be a member of the first team that is two years younger than Casadei?

Because Casadei is now over aged for the Primavera and deemed not ready for the first team. We don't have a B-team or a U23 like Chelsea so Casadei has to find his chances elsewhere, either on loan or outright move.

Carboni is still very young even for the Primavera, he can train with the first team on weekdays, sit on the bench on Saturday then play with the Primavera on Sunday, his development wont be hindered. Same situation as Esposito's a few years ago.

may both Carboni still at Inter in case to make both treat as three years youth graduate from Inter academy, not really technical, just for administration purposes.

yea, that was also being said 2 month ago, that we wanna use him as the 5th striker, even tho the kid is not a striker, but lets see. I am pretty sure he will play in max 3 games and a total of 5 minutes.

The good thing is that both him and his brother look promising, but that also means Inter will probably sell them soon.

It probably went unnoticed with everything that's going on at the club right now but he made his debut with the first team yesterday. I wouldn't mind him getting more chances.
