10 years of FIFGenuinely surprised to read this, so looked into it, article is dated Oct 2018 so that's 5/6 games into the season. Checked with whoscored, he def had a good start to the season, a MOM versus Bayern (I watched that game, wasn't impressed personally). End of the season he averaged 1.8 key passes a game according to whoscored (Sancho 1.9, Kimmich 2.4 for comparison) but this is deceptive because it depends on tactics e.g. Kimmich plays further back but on a more attacking team (60-70% possession) and has to share touches with more creative players like Thiago. Sancho was our sole creative force to be honest but had to share touches with ball hoggers Gotze and Wistel. All the same its an impressive attacking stat but context is important. In no way could Lazaro be considered a greater attacking threat than Sancho (who has 3 times as many assists).
Again I have to go back to the dynamics of the BLiga, Bayern poach the best BLiga talents to maintain dominace and compete in CL, Dortmund poach whatever is left to keep up with Bayern. Considering both are in need of a RB or right winger its a surprise neither was linked with Lazaro, unless he's not good enough for their level. Some clubs have a "no sale to Bayern" policy like Dortmund and Bayer but Hertha and Bayern have a good relationship as far as I can tell with one of Hertha's CBs linked to Bayern before they bought Hernandez. I don't know who scouted this player for Conte but I trust Bayern/Dortmund scouts more especially given their successes with unknown players. Could be Conte knows something they don't.

10 years of FIFYeah, I think we shouldn't take too many players from certain agent/agencies. When one agent has so many clients in one club, that agent becomes a powerful figure within that club.
More details are coming from Berliner Zeitung, which is as reliable as it gets when it comes to Hertha;
Inter tried to get Lazaro for 18mil + Rigoberto Rivas, but Hertha declined. They both reached an agreement for 22mil. + 3 mil. in bonus activated when reaching certain Goals.

Meh there are many players who may not look great in highlights. I know nothing about this guy other than he had 3 goals and 7 assists last season. If he can contribute in creating chances and be efficient I'll be happy.

However it’s quite clear even in YouTube the German back lines are often not there because of how they launch the counter, or they simply don’t position many players inside the box to defend against Hertha. This is extremely important for a wing player, because as we know, 80% of the teams in the league actually sit back against us. Due to the distance of a cross can go before it reaches our players, coupled with the number of players inside the box ratio is greatly in their favour, this is why we have been the team with the greatest number of crosses but barely any of them reach its target.
This is why players like Perisic and Candreva, who outside of the club or before joining the club, were considered great crossers, but turned into chumps with us, due to their one dimensionality in their play plus their cross. (Perisic is better in this regard as he scores and defends also, but Candreva's only throughput was crossing).
This kind of stats is pretty much a total bias towards their clubs and league, and is probably not transitive, at least easily, to the Serie A.
Of course, there are other things to like about him, but just be careful with these data. They are only a representation in his current environment, not a prediction and definitely not a guarantee for anything in the future.

Most Diverse PosterWe missed out on Schulz, sadly - if we had Schulz on the left side and Perišić on the right wing back, I believe that would work. Now we have to bring in Lazaro who is a good player, just hopefully he doesn't get injured like Vrsaljko did.
