Name: Valentino Lazaro
Age: 23
Nationality: Austrian
Position: RWB/RM

Inter are still looking for a new winger that fits Conte’s 3-5-2 system for next season. The top name on the list is Hertha Berlin’s Valentino Lazaro. According to Di Marzio, Inter are working very well on this front. Contacts have been positive with great optimism and soon there will be another meeting with the German club to reach the conclusion.

His name sounds very familiar, he must be one of those FM's wonderkids that I have heard of somewhere.
Anyway, he seems like a typical Conte's wingback e.g Asamoah, Moses...

I don't want to repeat myself so i will paste my post from defenders thread.

Lazaro belongs in the category of failed wingers who turned into attacking fullbacks. His defence isn't good enough to be a defender and his attack isn't good enough to be a winger so he's in between. He only started playing as a right back this season when Weiser left Hertha for Leverkusen. I think he would be a decent option as a wingback though there are certainly better RB than him in Bundesliga.

Sky (DiMarzio) says Inter is closing in on a deal. Offering 17m plus 2 in bonuses while Hertha Berlin want a total value of 20m.

Pretty cheap all things considered. See a lot of potential upside here

That’s a fucking robbery if true! I’m all in! Keep Candreva and Politano on the bench.

Wishful thinking, those two cunts, and Galgliardini always find themselves on the field.

We'll play a 3-4-3 for sure so it's an absolute necessity to go for good wingbacks. Shrewd business, the guy can run up and down the right side for 90 minutes and cross well.

Lazaro once was a wonderkind but injuries threw him back.

It seems that he has overcome his injury problems tho.

I have seen a lot of Lazaro, if he is good enough only time will tell. I would say 15-20 millions is nearly exactly what he is worth.

But at least I can promise, he wont be a fuck up like Dalbert ;)

I don't know about Lazaro (old acquaintance of our calciomercato, but things are looking much more serious this time).

I know the music in those highlights makes me want to hit the gym for a Rich Piana 8-hour arm workout.
Some "natty anthem" vibes (let's do this).

I credit spalletti a lot for cancelo. He really helped him grow as a defender and player. Hopefully Conte can do the same for this guy.

Gag and Politanor are ok to keep especially when they have a coach that uses them well but Candreva is a concern because he isn't useful at all.

Were better equipped for a 3-5-2 than a 3-4-3.

There is a difference tho, Cancelo came to us at the lowest point in his career, he lost his place to fucking Montoya and hadn't had any constant playtime before. Spalletti make him a system and gave a role where he can shine, essentially made him a 40m player.

Lazaro, on the other hand, has always been a starter at his clubs and just came off a very good season. Conte only needs to make him work like he already is.

Cancelo wasn't that good in the first half of the season, only the second he started to be important for us. And still today he isn't that good. Juve lost a lot of importants games thanks to he's mistakes. That's why he is leaving now.
