Vazquez is not a smart choice at all.

He was good enough for Real Madrid. Who's Lazaro good enough for? As a general rule in BLiga if the player isn't linked to Bayern or Dortmund then believe he's not good enough for Inter. I'm not saying he's Dalbert bad as it will depend on how Conte manages him, but aside from his speed I'm not sure what Conte sees in him. He had half a good season at 11th placed Hertha Berlin but now he's essentially our 1st choice RWB. I would love to see the scouting report on this guy.

I want to feel optimistic over Lazaro but at the same time it feels this is yet another wing back / full back who won't be that good at Inter. How many of these we've had? They've burnt probably close to 100m€ on these in the last 10 years or something.

At least now we have a top coach whose system is based on wing backs so I guess he knows what he's doing. That's what brings the optimism.

If I Conte, The choice for RWB is obvious.

In addition to Ausilio trying to get him long time ago, he and Marotta moved for him on March. Of course it's possible that this was done as per Conte's instructions. But it looks maybe more likely that Lazaro was at best proposed to Conte and he said yes.

The amount of monet is not everything. It's just that the more you pay, the higher (in theory) chance he wilk do alright.

Just give it a chance, we might all be for a big suprise. You often ser those great players after few years, you see where they werw before, and we all wonder why we weren't after them.

So how good is this guy actually? I've only seen him couple of times for Austrian NT, and that's it. He looks like fast player with decent shooting/dribbling technique, but cant really say if he is any good in defense or about his footballing IQ.

If it's a 3-5-2 I'll have less concern over his defensive responsibilities. If our midfield includes kivacic barella and brozovic, that's enough defensive support that Lazaro could sit on the grass while the other team has the ball.
