They’re on a roll, just be careful, Okereke and Ampadu are quite decent but their midfield is not good.
I like Sensi and Vidal idea but highly we might end up with one of Gag or Vecino. Dumfries and Dimarco will start also.

Always remember the game from Jan 99, 6-2 we won at the Meazza. Hattrick for Zamorano, 2 for Ronaldo and 1 for Roby Baggio. What a game. Comedy season. There was a little period in that season where we were pumping everyone at home, something like in 4 games we scored 20 goals but at the same-ish time we took 1 pt out of a potential 24 in away games. Absolutey dogshit.

Genuinely to this day, when we pump a team with big numbers I get a sense of impending dread that stems all from that short period in the 98/99 season. Anyone else?

Unfortunately it was a bad memory, beaten 1 - 0 by venezia( around 2000 or 2001) , we were on a winning streak if im not mistaken and everything was awful after that

Lets erase that bad memory guys ! Cmn lets win thisss

Just play mixed team. There are few that desperately need rest and some that need minutes.

Handa
Skriniar - Rano - Bastoni
Dumbfries - Vidal - Brozo - Sensi - Di Marco
Correa - Lautaro

Sensi/Calha is debatalbe, maybe Calha should start and Sensi to replace him ~60th minute. Alexis may start if he is fit as well, instead of ether Correa or Lautaro.

Venezia are playing decent football, but still even this team should be more than enough to break them. We have 5 subs if something goes wrong with quality players on the bench, so...

My first season as an Inter fan. It should have been a warning about what i was getting myself into.

That Venezia game was pure beauty. Watching Ronaldo and Roby Baggio play together was a stuff of dreams.

If Vidal is out, start the mighty Gags, along with Broz, Sensi, Dumfries and Dimarco. Barella needs a breather. Sanchez, Dzeko, Satriano if things are going pear shaped. Forza Inter.

dimarzio predicts this:

Inter (3-5-2): Handanovič; Škriniar, Ranocchia, Bastoni; Dumfries, Gagliardini, Brozović, Çalhanoğlu, Di Marco; Correa, Džeko

I approve that. Precious rest for Barella but also Lautaro. Then rest Dzeko in the home match against Spezia.

I guess it's hard to give rest to Brozovic at any point.

Likewise dude... Lost count of the amount of times I've thought "why am I doing this to myself" since then, but it never ever lasts.

Agree, I genuinely think the R9, Baggio and Vieri triumvirate should and could have been the greatest strikeforce of all time had we not been robbed of talents due to injuries, etc.

I don't like it. It would be just like pazza Inter to drop points at Venezia after beating Napoli & Shakhtar.

Give Barella a rest, but start Vidal in his place. Perisic has to start with the kind of form he is in. Target 2-0 by HT, and then you can sub out key players like Perisic, Brozovic, etc to give them some rest.
