Oh god here we go it's the coach again :palm:

I didn't even like the Mancini hiring but people need to stop blaming coaches. Inter has had coaches from all shapes and sizes still the same shit over and over again. Maybe the player aren't as good as some think. I know I know but market value.

You can blame the players once the coach fields the best available options, which he didn't. As far as I know Carrizo's market value is equivalent to a piece of toast with cum spread all over it. As far as our league performances go, that's a different story.

Another very disappointing result.

Mancini thought that he wants to do the whole Ancelotti thing with one keeper for Europe and another for the league. Well, that works if you have two decent keepers who you can't choose from. Not when one keeper is miles ahead of the other.

Carrizo, oh man. Gave away 2 goals. The second goal was a really stupid decision, and the third goal was piss-poor keeping.

I think this season is lost anyway. I hope that somehow we manage to make EL. With the new CL spot there, it's very attractive.

Wolfsburg's equaliser was a great example of absolutely shambolic defending buy Inter. We've been so shit at defending set pieces for so long (and I've said this many times before).

Carrizo did make a bit of a meal of Naldo's header, but in fairness, a hard struck header can still be difficult to stop despite being straight on. This happens.

But the defending was just plain atrocious. How on gods green earth does one allow a 6'5" defender to waltz into the box totally unmarked and unchecked ???!!! And not a single schmuck in black & blue actually got to the ball !

It was 8 Inter players vs 4 wolfsburg players with the 5th (Naldo) sneaking in unchecked... FML :palm:

P.S. Choking on my own rage.

Regardless of the terrible defending, a potted plant would have stopped the 1st and 3rd goal. All it had to do was stand still.

I haven't seen the 3rd yet, but don't underestimate a hard struck ball coming straight at ya. But he's definitely not off the hook.

Why the fuck is Juan Pablo Carrizo starting such an important game? Fucking Mancini. Him and Europe are like oil and water. We still have a chance but the players are going to have put in an impeccable performance at the Meazza.

Well fuck @ Palacio's chance in the 56th minute :palm: he had enough time to have a big Mac, fries & coke before shooting and he didn't even get it on target from ~6 yards out ! Great work from Santon wasted.

Ohhhhhhh dear me at Wolfsburg's 2nd goal :palm:

Carrizo should volunteer to never start another game again. Handanovic must be bewildered...

Anyone saying we had this was clearly watching another game.. We were soaking them up and they were eventually gonna score, our counters were ending up in nothing and when you literally have only the goalkeeper to beat with all the time in the world and you hit the side netting you know clearly dont have squattt!!

I understand the switch to back 3.. it was to enable us to stretch pitch and contain them more.. obviously it didnt work.. But I dont think we lost because of that switch the goals would have come regardless.. Baring Vidics foul that led to the second I dont see how the switch to back was the reason why we lost.

Had Handa been in goal and had he made mistakes Im sure people would have been calling for his and Mancinis head as well.. Hindsight is always to be had..

I don't know why it's so difficult to accept that maybe the players and the coaches both have significant limitations. It doesn't have to be either or, and it's not here.

Our midfield was the disaster this time. Medel was poor as usual and he mistook everything that could be mistaken. Guarin was a crap, either and the only good one in the mid - Hernanes was subbed for Vidic?! I think this substitute was the main reason for our defeat. We just gave up the possession and midfield's control which allowed to Wolfsburg to overwhelm our shaky defense. The goals were just a matter of time. So, Mancini fucked up the game, not Carrizo, neither Guarin did it.

We have defeated ourselves. I can't believe how we gave away the game that easy. Can't fucking believe how cheap goals we concede here and there.

The first goal should have been saved, it was a powerful header but then again it was straight to the goalkeeper so there is no excuse about that. Meanwhile the goals in the second half are just LOL, dont wanna comment anymore about the game...

wtf Dylan, we were 5 points off 3 place when Mazzarri got sacked.

The day Mazzarri got sacked we were not 5 points off of 3rd place?

tbh, i was surprised we did so well in the first half. wolfsburg is the second team in bundesliga for a reason and we were pretty matched up until a certain point.
once hernanes was subbed we lost control in midfield and eventually the game. inviting pressure with our defense is just a bad idea.

carrizo starting was no surprise either since he played very well up until then. he cracked under the pressure. shit happens.
