This. No reason to spend on right flank anymore. Candreva is not perfect, but he's going to be sub anyway. So as will be Hakimi as Lord D'Ambrosio will be eventually there again.

Sad but true. I too would prefer Moses as backup. As mentioned, he's much younger than Candreva, much faster and more dynamic. And it's much more exciting seeing him coming off the bench - there's actually a sense of expectation when Moses comes on, not a giant eye-roll like when you see Candreva warming up. That said, it's 100% truth that the financials just don't work to make it worthwhile.

Unless some generous benefactor inexplicably offset the cost of Moses by buying Candreva from us at an inflated price (*cough cough* Suning), there's no way Moses can stay. Who am I kidding, aside from Eder, when the fuck has Suning Jiangsu ever helped us out.
