P3DX sold 2 million copies in 5 months. Hopefully that and the new Niantic AR thing can potencial get us Pikmin 4.

Also the point is having a strong enough portable game console so that you can play your favourite games anywhere you go. Having BOTW, Hades, Bayonetta or Hollow Knight on the go is better than just playing new games all the time. I don't know your childhood relationship with games, but we used to play the same games all the time. That's why we buy them, to give the best developers money + to have fun for the long run.

Why buy a game for 60 dollars if you stop playing it after 10, 20 hours?

@Gane - yeah, it's been confirmed by Aspyr themselves like a year ago. Don't be too hyped, since they are not as good as Bluepoint in remaking.

Uncharted 4 for PS5 and PC was big news. I'm kinda sad that I watched the Gow:Ragnarok trailer, too many spoilers. They didn't show MGS remake, but they did show Alan Wake Remastered. Gran Turismo 7. Spider-Man 2. Wolverine. The future looks good.

Is Nintendo being bastards with how they price stuff? Sure. Is their audience primarly more interested in having legendary games on the go than trying out new games? Yes. The sale numbers prove it. You are brainwashed by American media - exclusives aren't the most important thing. If the audience is screaming for remakes or having the same games as other consoles (Witcher 3, Hades, Bayonetta,...) - why would they put more money into exclusives - we are getting new Zelda and new Mario game, which they know will sell... but they don't need other exclusives. They are fucking Nintendo, bro. At the moment they have the best handheld device in the gaming industry.... at least until we see what Steam Deck can do.

Would just love to have same gameplay and story with a updated graphics, no need to change perfection. I see they did Jedi Outcast remake, didnt even know that existed, would love to play it again, love the original trilogy so much.

Wait what, is there gonna be MGS remake? I know they already did remaster version. Fuck me this is like xmas, 2 of my fav. games ever are being remade. I just hope they dont replace Hayter with someone else, feel like its popular nowadays to that kind of change.

The MGS remaster was like in 2001 or something like that. It's time for a remake.

I'm probably gonna be in minority but the only Bioware game I really still like is Mass Effect 2. Every other game has so many dull, boring moments of grind and cheesy dialogue. I probably replayed the first KOTOR 10 times, especially loved both of the quests where you have to deduce what is the truth, because you can fail both of them. Games in general need more quests like that. I also like most of the supporting characters, Jolee fucking Bindo <3
I do not think the light and dark side choices are done well, it just feels like a game where developers made a game with the light side in mind, while the dark side is batshit crazy at times. Kotor 2 did it a loooooot better.

The problem is that I see Kotor as a gateway game into turn-based combat - I mean, it isn't really turnbased, but it's a cute, little easy game in the world of Star Wars where you have to think a bit while in combat. Nowadays you got Divinity: Original Sin 2, Wasteland 3 and similar games that are kinda more engaging, be it quests, choices, combat, story, ...

So that's why I am not up for giving money for a outdated game. It was cool for a time, but it was already a downgrade on Baldur's Gate 2, mechanically and storywise.

I tried to play BG2 and Icewind Dale but couldnt get into the story and gameplay, was to young prob. So easier gameplay in Kotor suited me better then, and that i was already into Star Wars universe helped.

Have you played BG3? I actually liked it from few gameplay videos i watched, but then found out its in alpha and more games are gonna come out in a year or two. Do not want to pay for something thats not actually finished.

It is made by the same guys that made Divinity: Original Sin I & II, so I know it has to be good.

Yeah, I have the same story with KOTOR. Neverwinter Nights was cool, but it felt too much like a MMORPG, Baldur's Gate 2 was complicated for a youngling... but KOTOR was cinematic, accessible and me and my brother just got into Star Wars at the time. It was amazing.

Levels like Korriban and Manaan are still greatness.

What I propose for this game is Uncharted-esque fast moving around when outside of battles with slow methodical D&D combat. I really liked how we moved in Dragon Age: Inquisition, it was almost like a Witcher game. That is one point that they should rework, because nowadays openworld games like Ghost of Tsushima or not open world games like Mario&Rabbids: Kingdom Battle have movement that is fun.. while moving around in KOTOR isn't fun.

I just remembered another great Bioware game, MDK2.

Yea I replayed FF7 remake because it was free because of ps plus. Think the no free ps5 upgrade is bs but what ever.

game is very fun but you have to play on hard. Playing on normal or easy is just way too fking easy. You don’t need to block at all, defend or dodge anything.

basically you get the triple slash ability with cloud and that kills everything.

the story is stupid but less stupid than the original. The game play is what a modern take on JRpg should be. Still prefer Skyrim or Fallout to this but it’s way better than my first time around.

hope all remakes are this and not a cheap glossy finish. Tho I am insanely excited for GTA 5 on ps5 as well.

Really excited for this despite having a 2023 release date. I think the trailer implies that Venom will be the 3rd playable character which I'm hyped for. I don't care for Harry being Venom here, as I think Eddie should always be Venom, but whatever.

If the story is Kraven hunting down all 3 throughout NY while you deal with other stuff I think that would be a really fun concept.
