There is no shame in using the wiki and getting a few pointers. Some people dropped 30 hours just in Limgrave to grind out exp points. If you're like me you'll first grind a bit and then go head first through the rest of the game (which still means deaths upon deaths haha)

Yeah i guess thats the way to go... I just dont really have time for that atm......

I guess I got a bit confsed cause the youtubers whom i watched playing all were like it s quite easy i almost never died.....
Then when i started playing i m dying all the time when i want to fight a big guy....

Guess i ll have to find a weekend where i have nothing to do and just level the fuck up..

That's normal, you're supposed to die a lot till you figure out the boss's movements and how it attacks. You get him to half HP and then he transforms and he kills u with his fart and you go again. That's kind of the beauty of it.

Also, you have the option of just leaving the boss and go explore another area and level up as you might be underleveled to fight the boss in the first place.

It needs a lot of time, if we weren't working from home I would've taken a couple of weeks off just for it.

Played some short games these last few weeks:

Little Nightmares- Nice little horror puzzle platformer. Love the art direction and the sound design which create a fantastic eery atmosphere together. The puzzles require more cognitive input that something like A Way Out (which I’ve talked recently), which is a good thing. The only drawback is the checkpoint system. You have to sneak through passages with a boss enemy quite frequently, which can take several minutes and if you die at the very end you need to do it all again. I remember a level in particular, where I escaped from the boss but had to restart multiple times because I kept falling to my death from a straight pipe afterwards  Good game overall, can recommend. (Was lucky to get it on sale on PS Plus, it’s quite short so paying full price might not be worth it)

Sea of Solitude- Visually very pleasant to look at but offers very little else. The voice acting is amateurish, the gameplay very repetitive and the story wasn’t really my type of shit either. Uninstalled it after 30 minutes. If you’re a trophy hunter you could probably get a platinum fairly easily in that one.

Titanfall 2- Fun FPS game with a great campaign. The sound design in particular is excellent, the gameplay is fast, fluid and offers some nice mechanics. The wallrunning is executed well here. Playing as a titan is kewl as fuck too. It also contains one of the best missions I’ve ever played in a FPS (the one with the time traveling module). Can recommend, you can get it for free on EA Play.

Risk of Rain 2- is my first rougelike game. That means the levels are procedurally generated and there’s a permadeath system, that means you need to start from scratch if you lose. Got this one on major discount on PS Plus and played it on Coop Mode with a friend. We managed to complete it in easy mode, which unfortunately ends prematurely. The majority of the content is locked behind normal and hard mode. We’re going to give it a few attempts on normal mode but I doubt we can beat it that way. The game is very difficult, even completing the first stage on normal mode is incredibly challenging.

I am amazed we got Titanfall 2, singleplayer campaigns like that are a rarity, especially funded by EA
Basically the only shooter of the last 10 years I enjoyed more was Doom Eternal. The multiplayer was great too.

Have you played Dishonored 2? That game also has a level with time manipulation, not as exciting as Titanfalls, but still memorable.

I've been playing Yakuza Kiwami and its clearly a remake of a PS2 game, but I'm still enjoying it, I'm just sure I'm not gonna go straight into Kiwami 2 because I'm doing mostly the same things as Yakuza 0 with an okay story compared to the one I played before.

Next one will be Ghostrunner, I heard great things about it, also I have Mirror's Edge in good memory.

Finished the last mission in Titanfall 2 yesterday, special shout-out to the auto-aim pistol that headshots multiple enemies with one shot. That was fucken awesome.

@wera, no I haven’t played Dishonored 2. I played the first one and I remember I was struggling. Stealth games aren’t really for me I guess.

Regarding Kiwami: Would you say the writing is still on a high level compared to 0 or is there a significant drop in quality? The dialogue, especially in the side stories, is a big reason why the game is so brilliant.

The feel of the story, the overall style is the same, but the writing is worse, I have to admit. It shows that it's a PS2 title being remaked. There are a few quality of life improvements, so it's not just a graphical remake, but it's not as gripping of a story like Zero was. It's definitely not bad and it makes (somewhat) sense. Let's say it's more predictable.

The only thing Kiwami 1 does better is the leveling system, because you get exp from every fight, every drink you order, every food you order, every mission. So you feel rewarded for every thing you do in the game and that is why I'm enjoying the game regardless, but the side missions are less funny in tone, while main mission mostly consists of various reasons for you character to fight baddies :D.

One of my favourite series ever. I think City is most peoples favourite but I enjoyed everything about Arkham Knight that didn't include batmobile missions.

I'm excited for the new one coming out this year, just wish they didn't change the art direction.

I played Arkham Knight on PC, but I've heard it's not cool to play those batmobile missions on a controller.

I believe City has their best story

its just 60% of the game feels like you have to use the car.

It should have been you can use the car or not use it depending on your play style. Also its way too much of Make your car into a tank then fight these random Tanks and Helicopters.... it's just not fun.

Using your car to crash into things is pretty cool tho

haha I like Fifa Career mode. Spezia is my team. I just buy Salcedo, Agudelo and Eric from their parent clubs. Their youth players are pretty good. I just don't like playing with Inter in Career mode because you can basically sim until you play Juve or Milan and win every game.

fun to have 10 million bucks and make a power house. Tho Inter will not hire me after 2 seasons of winning the league because of experience :)

There's a Football Manager thread.

Try asking questions there and be a bit specific even if it's just for basic stuff. Someone will help out.

Very fun game but there's a ton of DLCs. Probably haven't loaded it since 2016
