I think it tells you before that the game will close you off from all the sidequests.

I would finish it now, if you can.

Purchased Steamworld Dig 1 & 2 as well as Celeste on a discount on the PS store today. Not in the mood for AAA titles at the moment

But you are in the mood of getting buttfucked by Celeste? Enjoy

I recommend Limbo and Inside, they are usually cheap, also a bit short, but the challenge is there.

Guess I’ll have to find out! I was aware of Celeste's reputation of being very challenging, but according to the internet it’s an excellent game nevertheless, so I decided I’ll give it a shot. If it‘s too difficult, then so be it, I only paid 5€ anyway.

I already bought Inside, haven’t played it yet though. Thanks for recommending Limbo, haven’t heard about that one before.

Any other recommendations for great indie games for PlayStation? I don’t care about the genre, willing to play just about everything. I don’t have enough time to play a 20+ hours triple a game at the moment unfortunately.
Games I’ve already downloaded: Little Nightmares, What remains of Edith Finch, Dreams, Katamari Reroll, Dreams, Inside.
Out of all those I've only played Little Nightmares (which I enjoyed).

Ah I found this list here:

Going to check out some of the reviews

Hollow Knight is one of the best games I've ever played. Pretty tough, but fair. Only 15 bucks too. It's a great deal. You should check it out.

it'll probably take you a while to finish it tho

I’ll give Celeste a shot at first and see if it’s for me. If the difficulty isn’t too much of a pain in the ass I’ll consider Hollow Knight.

Just finished Yakuza 0 and clocked in just below 80 hours, which is probably the most time I’ve ever spent in a campaign. What a ride it was, the game has earned a special place in my heart. Definitely not going to be my last Yakuza game, maybe I’ll give Kiwami a shot before the end of the year

I loved Hollow Knight, but never finished it.

My list of PS indies goes like this
-Journey (easy game, short game, but it's a meditative adventure that the whole family can enjoy - it was first released on PS3, but still looks good)
-Hollow Knight (hard, but fair, best metroidvania in years)
-Celeste (didn't play it, but heard the story is great)
-Terraria (I believe it's on a list of top20 most sold games of all time)
-Inside and Limbo (both from the same studio, if you like one, you'll like the other, also both are usually cheap)
-Unravel and Unravel Two (the second one can be played co-op)
-Shovel Knight (it's a cute, challenging game)

And if you have another person that can play with you, A Way Out, Brothers and It Takes Two from the same studio, Hazelight. It's very fun.

And my favourite indie game of all time - Hades.

so far Kiwami 1 was okay at best, definitely can feel the drop in story telling, Kiwami 2 is a bit better, 3 was eh - so don't expect another masterpiece

I started watching cutscenes after that
4 and 5 get a bit better, but adds more playing characters, but none of them are as cool as Goro Majima

I might play Yakuza 6 and then go to Like A Dragon and the other detective series, but Elden Ring is my life right now :D

Aight, looks like with having finished Y0 we’ve both already played the best game in the series. If Kiwami 1+2 aren’t all that great I’m probably going to skip them. I would certainly be interested in a game which matches or at least comes close to Y0 humor from the substories, those were some absolute comedy gold. According to some research Y5 and Y6 seem to be the funniest after Y0.

Finally killing Malenia after 70+ tries and then helping people online beat her as a summon is some of the most fun I've ever had in a video game. God I love Elden Ring.

I still have to get to her. The last I played I was in Volcano manor, but it seems too dangerous for me to check the whole manor

Should I go to Shaded Castle or Leyndell first?

definitely do volcano manor last out of those three areas. I did leyndell after the manor and regretted it, I was a bit overlevelled.

yeah just did the shaded castle, i'd say this one was the worst of all locations, very uninspired

Today I somehow found a new way into the underground in Elden Ring (after Radahn festival) and I am loving it. Setting aside the sewers of Lyendell and the Volcano manor which seem a bit too hard for me at the moment.

Holy fuck, the amount of secrets and secret passages in this game. I wonder how many walls I'll have to strike to find everything

I recommend Psychonauts 2 and you don't even have to play the first one to understand the story. I wouldn't say it was as good as It Takes Two, but it's a wild ride nonetheless.

Thinking I'm going to buy a lot of games this steam summer sale. Already got Tales of Arise and Assassins Creed (the Egyptian one). Never played any game in either franchise but im already about 4 hours in Tales. I'm really liking the story and characters so far.
