It's really important for a player to feel the confidence of coach, especially after bad display, thus I would field Wome tonight against Messina and if he seems confident and not panicing every time he has the ball, we could use him against Villarreal. He reminds me of Dalmat, both has what it takes to be a really good player, but no self confidence whatsoever!

Did you see Dalmat play at San Siro? Do you think he oozed self-confidence? Professional players sure know how to pass the ball, but these two guys just panic sometimes, I'm sure they doesn't have similar problems in practice.

Being an egoist and having confidence and determination in soccer are two very different things. Say, Cambiasso and Capitano are very modest and nice off the pitch, but full of confidence and very determinate when they play.

Of course I saw Dalmat played in San Siro. He held the ball and dribbled as much as possible, resulting in losing it. You think a player who has a lack of confidence will do that? A player who is lack of confidence would not hold the ball, because they will be afraid of losing it, so they play in the most pessimistic way possible, just pass the ball immediately. Dalmat didn't do that for sure. Dalmat in his first season was good, in fact, very good, so why not the second season?

Dalmat shouldn't have a lack of confidence, every one knows his capabilities, even himself knows that he could have been the second Zidane. Wome in another hand is different, no expectation, no performance, that's lack of confidence.

Well, I strongly believe that his lousy performances had everything to do with his confidence level. But arguing about it is pointless, no one will ever know.

This game will be huge the first one was, man was I shaking ever since we conceded that first goal. I remember the moments when Capitano went on his legendary runs and I started screaming Vai Capitano Vai. I hadnt felt such tension since the last Euroderby. Man the Champios League gives u a special feeling and I cant wait till tuesday.

I am starting to get a feeling we are destined to win the CL this year after all our failed attempts. I dont know how much of u watch Tennis but 5 years back there was a certain player called Goran Ivanisevic who entered Wimbledon at a career low ranking after having lost 3 finals in the past and said its destiny that will bring me the trophy at the most difficult moment of my career and that is exactly what happened.

I hope I dont jinx the club but lets just hope and pray that my feeling is right.

I totally agree with you, if he wasn't so much egoist he would've had a much brighter future.

Btw, does anybody know what has happened to Dalmat lately?
Does Inter still owns him or did they sold him.....

His problems:
Indeed, his days at the Primera outfit looked numbered earlier in the month when the club publicly castigated both he and his brother, Wilfried, for returning late from their Christmas holidays.

Attitude problems.

Not all lol. Many football players are very professional and don't create that many problems like what the news said.

Certainly not Edgar Davids, not when he was in Inter. He was very professional.

Cristiano Zanetti should play some minutes in this game, we should play catenaccio with him and Matrix if things go fine.
But the only bad thing is arribe to the minute 75/80 with 0-0, we must score atleast 1 goal.

i duno Alex, it might be a bad idea to go out into that game with a defensive mentality.

An away goal would be priceless
