Can someone enlighten us on why Napoli let him go so easily? Such a great deal for one of their key players.

Well vidal and asamoah aren't on the same level either. Vidal has the fight/energy/commitment but also the quality. He has quality passing and ability to score goals/assist. Asamoah is raw and can be like Vidal but he's not there yet. His passing and vision is not as great as Vidal. That being said, these 2 are still developing whereas Gargano is at his pinnacle.

Gargano can be on Asamoah's level except he's a little clumsy on the ball sometimes. But his workrate is very, very high and he has good speed. His passing isn't bad, but isn't great either. For his price, can't complain.

Personally I'd wish we'd gone for a more offensive CM, but I guess strama wants 3 hulks in midfield :trollol:
