Yes! I've been saying this a year ago, I'd sign 3 or 4 season without Europe if we really build a new, young, talented team in this time, with a competent coach.

This year I wouldn't mind it, if we didn't sold Sneijder for too little, sold Coutinho, gave half of Livaja for Schelotto,.... that kind of bullshit must go the fuck away too!

Juventus winning the Scudetto playing the backwards 3-5-2 means nothing to me, Italy is 10 years behind Europe in the evolution of football, that is how far Italy has fallen. All of the teams are mediocre.

When real teams like Bayern come to their stadium, Juve are embarrassed by teams playing modern formations.

So Guarin is going to be the "Hamsik" of this new Inter team... I have to say that doesnt convince me at all, its most certainly a role Guarin cant fill the shoes for.

Thats kinda like saying Stankovic of 5+ years ago should be the Frank Lampard of the team.

Hamsik is a much more intelligent player, with a far better shot and passing ability. Hamsiks goal/assist stats are very impressive, while Guarin has shown quite a few times that he would have trouble hitting a barn door from 2 meters away, not to mention very poor decision making when it comes to passing. If anything Guarin should be told to take less chances, make the safe pass more often and not shoot even half as much.

A player of fairly limited intelligence and technical ability like Guarin should not have any playmaking duties. Guarin has other strengths, both getting the ball forward and when defending, but in the final third of the opponents half he should never be the go-to guy.

Nagatomo on the right wing is certainly not ideal either. If we can get Isla that might improve it abit.

But in the end, the "new" Inter probably wont even look like this, we will have to wait and see.

Tactically speaking, I don't think so. Italian coaches are still the most tactically adept.

Last season, the CL winner (Di Matteo), Russian PL winner (Spalletti), English PL winner (Mancio), and Euro Runners up (Prandelli) were all Italian.

This season Ligue 1 winner (Ancelotti), Ligue 2 winner (Ranieri), and EPL runners up (Mancio) were all Italian.

Where Italy are behind, is the quality of players... Italian clubs cannot compete with top European clubs financially anymore. The quality of the starting XI between Bayern and Juve was too vast.

This is utter nonsense, infact the italian teams are some of the only in europe who keeps re-inventing and revolutionizing the tactical aspects of the game. Saying 352 is a step backwards makes no sense, there is no such thing, its all about adapting and re-inventing, especially when you cant compete financially. Roma pretty much invented the 4231 we see so many variations of still, i wouldnt be surprised one bit if we start seeing 352 variations around europe in the coming years.

When real teams like Bayern come to their stadium, Juve are embarrassed by teams playing modern formations.

No, they are embarrassed by teams have about 50x the talent and player potential as they do. Regardless of Juve's tactical approach, its highly unlikely they would be able to beat the best teams in europe. Infact i would go as far as to say that i doubt Napoli or Juventus would have gotten fairly good results in the CL in recent time if they had used a typical 4231 or 442.

Infact what you wrote is just dumb beyond belief tbh. Rube lost 2x 2-0 to the strongest team in the world, with a massively inferior squad and then you use that as proof to why the 352 sucks, seriously?

The issue with italian football vs the other big leagues, is in the lack of player potential and the poor economy in many italian clubs, the tactical aspect is pretty the only area where ITaly is not lacking behind.

Honestly describing 3-5-2 as backwards even Barcelona at times have 3 central defenders with Busquets dropping in between defenders and for the millionth time it's not about the formation it's about how the team is balanced.

Edit: Bayern beat Juve because they're simply better not because of a formation...

INTER, TEN MOVES (TO WIN SCUDETTO) OF MAZZARRI

Mission Scudetto. Handanovic and the 3-5-2.
Guarin as top player. Icardi like Cavani.

 @ GDS talking about scudetto. We could sign the real Hamsik & Cavani to replace our budget imitation versions and still wouldn't compete with Juve.

We can compete with Juve, we now just need to compete with the Sienas, Palermos and Co.... then we'll be fine

Is he a fan or what? Interesting. :)

Nope, he doesn't have to be a fan to make the right move, just have to be ideal :). Inter will always be a much bigger club than Roma or Napoli will ever get, no matter if we have some bad years. Happend to Milan and Juve aswell.

its working now.

I suspect Garritano, but dont get a good look

Wait. It cant be Garritano, he's on Italy U19 duty. As is Benassi and Pasa.

My backup to Garritano was going to be Belloni, and Forte under that.

- - - Updated - - -

Belloni's injured, thinking about it.

In terms of who is most likely to be playing in the first team, its probably Olsen?
