Next week is the big test. But I am 100% confident we will at least get a draw, more probable with a win against Viola.

Not because they are missing players, well it has some contribution, but mainly because our physical midfield will just chase and hunt their technical midfield down like dogs. They wouldnt be able to do anything against us, our brute force strength will prove to be too much for them to handle.

Because talk of the scudetto is so premature. Our aim is 3rd place, and anything higher would be amazing.

Yeah but we have faced both Rube and Fiorentina within 5 games. While Roma's hardest team was Lazio.

Not to mention that we will get even better with time. Our quality is a function of time, the more players get adjusted to Mazzari's system the better we will get in the future, all of that and no European competitions.

I mean who knows if we're truly scudetto contenders, or even 3rd place contenders. But as long as we're still in the place for both might as well dream for a while. If we crash and burn, then oh well.

Yes, I have to admit we've done better than expected against our harder tests, but the other 3 have been pretty mediocre so far.

I just dont like any talk of scudetto or anything until at least halfway through the season where we've played everyone once.

I agree, but we're 6 games in. Who knows what will happen. Maybe we'll have some ridiculous implosion? Maybe everyone is playing 150% and will burn out within 3 matches? Maybe Handanovic will do his cruciates and we'll bleed goals...

Scudetto talk is always premature if you're discussing it before the winter break. Winter champions and then we can talk.
