Which players should we get ?

I was planning to open three different threads for three different positions, just like we had in the last forum (former forza forum) on defenders, midfielders,..

Now, lets do it in one thd this time.

We have to buy atleast two quality players for defence and midfield. Who should we get from the following. (whom we are rumoured to and we can get)

(3) Kompany-Take him in some kind of deal that will suit Anderlecht!

DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS :

(1) Emerson-Should be out top target!
or
(5) Davids-Only get him if we cant get Emerson!

ATTACKING MIDFIELDERS :

(6) Ederson-Send him out on loan!

WINGBACKS :

(3) Nossa in the senior team-He deserves it!

IMO if we get a left defender and a consistent central midfielder our team is complete. Therefore I´d rank the possible players like this.

1. Zambrotta.
IMO he was the worlds best player last year and we definitely need a left defender/midfielder that can produce in game after game. He was rumoured to Inter last year. Throw in Vieri and maybe it´s a deal?

2. Davids
On Bosman and that´s a real bonus. He is stabile and works everyday unlike our inconsistent piece of crap midfielders in the current squad.

3. Kompany
It´s important to get a central defender for the future. If they could make a deal this year, but still let him play in Anderlecht next 1-2 years it would be great, since he won´t play much in this current squad. But if Gamarra leaves, maybe it´s necassary to get Kompany now.

4. John Terry
Simply because he is English. I really want an Englishman so media pay more attention to Inter and it would be cool with an Englishman. He is a star in EPL, and would be decent in Serie A.

5. Veron
He has been excellent in Serie A. I´m sure he´d dominate again, but he seems to be injury prone, and Inter should only buy him if they get a cheap price.

Anyways, here is what I would do if we keep Zac:

1) Buy 2 central defenders! Forexample Lucio and Ferrari and depending on Canna´s performance sell/keep him.
2) Buy Cesar from Lazio! Sell Helveg! Buy a decent backup for JZ!
3) Sell Lamouchi and Okan and possibly Almeyda. Get Cambiasso!
4) Buy Frey! Sell Fontana! Toldo will be backup for Frey unless proven otherwise.

Please keep in mind that I might change my mind.

Yup, maybe not those two, not Stankovic if he plays in a more offensive position. And Emre has been injury haunted this year although he has not been good at all, you could see sometimes he was hot, but to seldom. Maybe it´s because of his injuries...Anyway I was thinking more of CriZan, Farinos and Almeyda to be unacceptable inconsistent.

I only want to see Mexes or Kompany in the team, perhaps the latter. It will be a huge gamble though. Kompany is only 18 and I'm quite confident that he won't straight away demand a starting line-up in a top European team. Besides, it's not a problem to accomodate 4 central defenders considering the fact that we use three of them. If we can nurture him well enough, he'll be the perfect replacement for Matrix & Canna who are in their 30s already.

No to any other department. We are fine and all we need is time.

I agree with many on some of the players we should get but to me there players who we shouldnt allow to leave...Those two would be VDM and Dalmat.These two have potential and its only sad that we dont use them as much to see that especially VDM who i think is solid..As for Dalmat he is very talented we just need to shape him the way we want and who knows maybe just like Recoba looked good under Zac that Dalmat might find himself also

Definitely, V.Meyde should not be sold/traded at any cost .....

On Dalmat, I got no idea.....

But I do have hope on Dalmat's Inter future if Mancini comes to Inter, coz Mancini had wanted him in Lazio.

Getting Mancini wud be good in so many ways :

(1) He had wanted Emre, Dalmat in Lazio in the past.
(2) He knows Stankovic very well.
(3) Might ask Inter to get Lazio's Cesar (another former player of his).
(4) Incase, Vieri is not sold; then he might find a way to play the duo of ..
(5) He's good in giving chance to talented players : V.Meyde, Karagounis,.
(6) Good football and so on .....

I'd keep Dalmat, honestly. Rather than getting Veron as our 'substitute', Dalmat will be a cheaper alternative. And besides, that Frenchie will now get his preferred position, in the middle.

If your definition of sucks mean Stankovic scoring from a corner vs Milan, the i guess you're wrong...haha..Jokes aside, Dalmat will definitely be better than Karagounis.Even if Kara played well, he won't be able to match an off-form Dalmat..
