2002/3 season was the first time I really started to like watching football, before I played and enjoyed playing but never enjoyed watching arsenal that much (live in London and whole family supports them and also trained at higbury when I was young) 2002 summer was world cup and as I am Turkish that was an amazing time for me as we came 3rd that year and I fucking loved Emre. I watched the last group stage game of Inter that year - also my first champions league memory of any team. I remember Crespo being fucking awesome against Ajax. Next game I watched was the Barcelona one where we lost 3-0 now even though it was my 2nd time watching Inter I almost cried, next match I caught was final game against Leverkusen and Martins another one of my favourite players at the time scored and I saw the dude do like flips and shit I was like :O (I was 8 years old) but then Emre scored I was fucking screaming. I watched first quater game against Valencia and loved Vieri, return leg I was in a car accident and missed but saw the highlights as soon as I came home and I loved Vieri more. I then watched both Milan matches and like propa cried when we got knocked out. I haven't looked back since even though my cousins tried to take the piss out of me for supporting Inter and my mum supports Jube I have always remained faithful to my beloved.

94/95 season. In my country, every boy chooses a (foreign :yao:) football team to support from as soon as they become self-aware. Most of my 4-year old friends supported Milan, so not having enough backbone to go against the majority, I chose Milan (despite never really having watched a football game apart from 1994 World Cup).

The first game I happened to actively watch was Inter-Milan (Wikipedia tells me it was Matchday 27). I cheered for my Milan, who were duly beaten 3-1 by these cunts in blue. My father (an Interista since Facchetti days) simply said: Why don't you start supporting Inter now?

Thus an Interista was born :fuckyea:

Still, being 4 years old, I didn't really become an Interista then. That happened against Schalke in the UEFA Cup final. When Zamorano missed that penalty, I remember going to bed and crying like a bitch. That is when I really became an Interista.

This was in the time of dial-up internet, so apart from CL matches (which we still took part in back then :yao:) the only way I could follow them was through late-night post-match Italian tv programmes which showed highlights, and following the scores through teletext during the game :)yao: :yao:).

My Inter support started 00/01 season when there came Championship Manager 00/01 in stores and to my friends PC. First game with him, I with Inter he with Roma and the battle for Serie A started.

Also after that i was playing really much football with my friends and they named me after Christian Vieri for my slow pace, good headers and going forward with the ball like a bull :)

There my love started with Inter and after couple of years in 2005 to this day i have watched Inter games. After season 2006-2007 i have watched allmost all Inter games with all friendlys. (yes i have GF, who supports me with this addiction)

Also had the pleasure to see couple of Inter games live at Meazza and im hoping some day Inter will visit Finland for some European league game or Friendly match! Waiting that day!

ever since I was little I liked the Italian league as my moms family is from Calabria. Most my family are Napoli fans some AC Milan fans but I loved Inter when they signed Ivan Cordoba and Fat Ronaldo :). Started really getting into it when I turned 10 in 2000.

Been a fan since. Tho lot tougher now that we suck and make some retarded moves. Tho future looking brighter under new management. Hope to be a Champions league quality team in the next 2 years and the quality of the italian league as a whole to improve. Have a soft spot for Udinese as they are huge fans of the Colombian U20.

Really only dislike Roma because of Burdisso and I hate Totti because he spits on people. Have to no beef with Juve, Milan or any other Italian teams. Tho Juve fans are kind of annoying at least the ones I run into.

Been an inter fan for a while, because i always liked the serie A and didn't like AC Milan because everyone would always talk about them and hype them so much (though to be fair, they were pretty awesome back then).

Then, the 2006 world cup happened and my obsession with Zlatan Ibrahimovic began and since then, I was fully invested. I realized I was a real Inter fan when we sold Zlatan but I couldn't really get behind Barca and will still committed to Inter Milan.

I remember crashing out of the champions league and the BS red cards throughout and had to catch myself because of how affected I was by what Inter was doing on the field.

The rest is history.

Summed it up 3 years ago on this forum and still going strong as an inter fan over 10 years now. Forza Inter!

Not really a fan, but an avid Mazzarri supporter.

Mazzarri introduced me to this team after following him watching Reggina and Napoli., I became interested in Inter due to his upbringing of Kovacic and Icardi, turning them into World class primadonnas. He also redefined football with Inter, introducing tiki taka to the San Siro crowd and fluid football to this traditionally mundane team.

It was then I realised I became more passionate for the fighting spirit of the team, the dominating football he transformed us into playing, rising above the ingenious level of intellect of Mazzarri. It was this very moment I chose to stick with watching this team than to follow Mazzarri's next European big conquer.

I felt in love with Inter when they played Manchester United in 98/99?I was really in love with the shirt and I was an rightback myself so when i saw Javier Zanetti and Bergomi I felt in love with them. The atmosphere was amazing and really fanatic, I started following them and when I went on holiday to Lake Garda I bought tons of fake shirts of Inter with Ronaldo, Aron Winter, Zamorano, Bergomi and Javier Zanetti etc. And over the years you learned that loving Inter is an painfull but amazing love. There is something about Inter what i can't explain even now i can't. Last year even visited their trainingscamp in the Dolomites. Took my car and went to see the friendly games and next month a dream comes true for me when I visit the derby.

Because of Ronaldo and best colour combinations on the jersey ever. Don't know when I started, but when I was 10 years old in 2002, everyone knew I supported Inter so my uncle got me Vieri's Inter jersey.. I wore it until it turned into ashes practically.

Knew that Inter exist from a photo of Bergkamp in Inter shirt, on local magazine, around 1993.
Not really a fan of him but I liked the color combination of the shirt, and the logo.
Then in WC 1994, I was rooting for Germany but also watched Italy games, and I found that I like Pagliuca.
I was following him since then, and he moved to Inter after the WC, so I started to follow Inter as well.

And I don't know why I love Inter.
I just don't know.

Coached a shitty Italian team at FM, got hired by Inter for some reason. Was ecstatic to finally have some money to spend. Decided to do some reading on the club's history and follow some matches, then I was hooked. Oh, and the shirt's beauty, too.

I wish I had something beautiful to say about a Ronaldo goal or Zanetti's loyalty, but the truth is often really silly.

You must live in a real shitty country if you have to support a foreign team.

I just supported Inter because of Ronaldo, spent the first 4 years not really watching much since I didn't have access on TV on a weekly basis but I surely remember the Ronaldo injury in the Coppa final, the 5 Maggio and the semi final defeat. Since Ronaldo didn't play much I fell in love with the team and when Ronaldo left I was angry but the club came first.

Fell in love with Inter in 98 there are many interisti in Malta and there was this fanatism for the club it really interested in Inter and also everyone was crazy for this Ronaldo guy and it interested me to say the least :p. But I was just 8 and the first time I started really following the club was in 2000 lol I started to watch a few games then and I fell in love with Inter I cared for Ronaldo but since he was always injured I fell in love with the club and not with an individual player and that's how it all began.. I think. A game in particular that I fondly remember is he 5-1 thrashing of Parma they were great back then lol if anyone can find any highlights of it please show em to me cause I couldn't find any.

^ Lol already answered this, dunno why I mentioned Malta.

I was raised by parents who were both (though in different ways) for loving the people from all over the world. My mother was a "hippie", my dad travelled for work a lot, they both felt citizens of the world and the same was for me, I shared the same feeling since as long as I can remember. So even though I was 5 when we won the scudetto, that wasn't the main reason why I chose Inter. I instinctively felt, even as such a little kid, I could only support a team called "Internazionale" with "friendship for people from all over the world" as his motto.
