Why do you support Inter, and how did you choose Inter?

I became an Inter fan through Ronaldo, that's from 1998. So I too became an Interista through a player so it would be hypocrtical of me to judge or call any of those Ibra fan boys, Ibra fan boys. What I don't understand is why those same guys want to call me or any other person here a "fake" fan for not considering Ibra some kind of god or why those people keep bringing up things like the hard times, etc. When they obviously never experienced these moments.

I support Inter because its the gr8est team in the world... duh! No, like the previous poster I was first drawn to Inter because R9 (we share the same name:)). Also all my other friends were Juve, Milan, Lazio or Roma fans... The deal was sealed in the 1997/98 season, when we played Juve and R9 was denied a clear penalty... it still upsets me til this day. Since then its been tough, the low point was losing to Milan in consecutive seasons in champs league (I was with my Milan friends, both times)...

I remember watching an Inter Juve game around that time but it's so vague. I remember there being penalties and those coming late in the game. Was the Juve penalty saved then the rebound scored?

I started following Inter in '92 when Toto joined, so that's some 17 years now.

I've always tried to be lax about it cause I find the hardcore foreign fans to be like wiggers. Case in point: japanese guy throwing rap-slang and saying stuff like "yo mothafucky, you no come mess heee with my honourable cousins yo. You fucky off now before my african-american brothers come pull a cap out of your ass".

I think it's silly beyond belief and not worthy of a grown man, so a Inter-wigga isn't something I would wanna be. There's no hysteria over "gangstas tagging in ma hood" so to speak.

Some fans may not agree, but to me that whole conduct is embarassing.

Since when is Inter a race?! If I were to move to Milan and buy a house face the San Siro and went to every game home and away would that automatically make me a real Inter fan or by your stupid point an Inter-nigga?

You Italians sicken me to honest. You claim to be such hardcore fans yet on game day you stay for asses at home and watch the games on tv instead of going to the San Siro to watch it in person. You guys claim to be such hardcore Interisti or (Inter-niggas) yet you don't want to fork over a few dollars to do something that it would cost us foreigners thousands of dollars to do.

Okay, the world's in crisis. Fine I understand so why not ensure that you find your asses at the free Inter events or the cheap ones like training sessions, etc. You stay at your homes and watch it on tv instead. Nothing annoys me more or in fact embarrasses me more when me and my friends are watching an Inter game or in fact any Italian football games and I have to make up some lie to explain why the seats are empty.

Hey everybody!

My story is simple, I became an Inter Milan fan since late 2001 (7 Years old). I loved

football but wasnt really a fan of any team until my uncle got me into watching Inter.

Ever since, Ive been an Inter fan. And, I dont regret it, because I am proud of being

a Internazionale Milano Fan! <3

Haha, hilarious post! :D What you are doing is infact judging each and every non-Italian interista based on his or hers residence. I believe that's called judging people based on something they cannot do anything about (borders to racism, sexism etc, not very positive). Calling me less of a fan because I happen to be born in Norway and not in Italy...:boogy::lol:

While "internazionale" was unique for us in pushing for foreign players, today it is the norm for football across the globe. Foreign players and international fans is something every team has. However, in our case it is in essence one of our core values. It's what Inter stands for. We should, more than any other team, not only respect and accept but encourage and seek international fans.

So while every team today is global and international, we were still the pioneers and remain strongly attached to that philosophy, and it's a bit silly for anyone to restrict Inter to Italy or Italians only because that goes exactly against the essence of who we are and why the team was created!

Not "each and every", just the really pathetic ones who acts like they live on curva nord and are hypocritical enough to go question other fans support; a debate starting with a lot of Inter-wiggas calling people who didn't hate Ibra fanboys and fake.

Newsflash: There's currently 105 people who didn't think it was such a big deal and only 33 "real" fans who thought it was. Out of those 137 people there's only a handful wigga enough to hunt down the fanboys - about half of them with Ronaldo as their favourite player or as a avatar.

It would be reasonable to assume that the silent majority, the 105 people who didn't see his leaving as a big deal, would find the argument of not hating Ibra = poor supporter as pathetic as I do and are equally amused by the irony of having a bunch of non-local, ultra-wannabe, playstation-fans telling them how they should or shouldn't support Inter.

The rabid minority = Inter-wiggas failing horribly at being "real fans". :joker::thumbsdo:

I'm not italian canadian, I just think you and your likes are silly and should watch hockey if you need to vent your rage instead of doing so on a internet forum supporting a team you've most likely never have seen in person. Perhaps find some real issues with direct implications on your life to be upset about, like paying bills or trying to get into your girlfriends underpants when she's not in the mood? You know, real issues, like the ones the locals have when they burn their real salary and real time on following a team or a player who doesn't give anything back, or when they get their faces rubbed in humiliation by real milanistas every day at work.

What I'm trying to say, is stop living in your fantasy and for god sakes; seek some anger management. :frustrat:

Who are you to deem what acting is appropriate and what isn't? Excuse me if I'm ignorant or whatever, but I support Inter in whatever way I like and if you don't like it, why would you care? I'm an interista regardless of your liking or not. My impression of you is that you act like you have some kind of supreme right to judge what is correct or not just because you are Italian.

You are saying you face milanisti every day, I wonder how you figure no one else does. I do. But maybe they don't count either? You are not making any sense, sorry fratello. Just because I'm not physically able to go to each and every match means I'm not a true interista?

Ok, I've been ignoring this thread but this is just hilarious at this point.. He hasn't said he's Italian, he hasn't even implied it. And he's right.

Few, if any posters on this forum, have any credibility if they decide to call anyone a "fake" fan and describe themselves as "real fans. The "real" Italian fans might have a completely different opinion, and probably do. Note, he's not saying that's right only that it's ridiculous for someone to take the high horse when more or less all of us are in the same boat.
