Hmm I kinda see UEFA like a booker for a boxing match, you need to put two guys fighting each other who make people wanna watch. :p

Of course its rigged Inter always seem to get a stupid English team or something like that, rivals facing rivals, players/managers facing old clubs its all the same every year.

Its also seeded, seriously they don't want the so called "big" teams to go out early so they just "seed" the teams. Its to do with coefficients or leagues crap like that so Inter got pot 2 this year and fucking Sevilla got pot 1 even though you would think the Italian champions would be in a better position? no? AND usually the top 4 English teams are in pot 1.

At least its not as bad as seeding the world cup qualifiers, i thought that every nation was supposed to be equal then Ireland get France and Portugal got BOSNIA of all nations!

Live from UEFA '' In a shock turn of events, Inter's Chapions League final will be played against an XI of Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid and Diego Maradona in his prime'' Platini had this to say '' Pfft, why not''

The opening post by Ehsan was incredibly precise! :star: I have been watching this forum for some time, but I became a member as soon as I read this and showed it to others!
I would like to add the following thoughts:
1) None team has won the Champions League two times in a row.
2) There weren't any English teams in the semifinals this year, while the previous years they dominated, for example with 3 teams in the semis. On the contrary, there were two English teams in the Europa League semis.
3) Having watched the same couple in the finals of 2005 and 2007 is weird, especially when the winner was different each time.Liverpool's come back after being behind by 3 goals was rather peculiar, accompanied by their victory in penalties. Two years later, and although Calciopoli had made an impact,Milan managed to win, with Liverpool being passive.
4) Bayern lost very astonishingly the final in 1999,but came back in 2001 to win the cup.
3 and 4 may show some effort made by UEFA to help English teams to come back from their disqualification for hooliganism issues.
5) Italian,English and Spanish teams have about the same trophies in their possession:
12 for Spain,11 for Italy and 11 for England.
If Inter manages to win this year, perhaps it will be Chelsea's turn in 2011.
German and Dutch teams share 6 European Champions' trophies.Inter and Yuventus have 2 European Cups/Champions League cups and 3 UEFAs,Bayern and Ajax have 4 European Cups,Benfica with Porto have 2,Eindhoven and Feyenoord have 1,it's like an equivalent.
In Italy we have equalised Milan in Campionato wins.In England Manchester United has the same champion trophies with Liverpool.Liverpool,Benfica and Real Madrid were for long out of shape,so Man. U.,Porto and Barcelona managed to perform higher.
6) Milan was a finalist in Champions League in 1993,won the trophy in 1994 and went back to the final in 1995.
Ajax won in 1995 and lost in 1996.
Yuventus won in 1996 and lost in 1997.
7) Red Star became European Champion in 1991,when in Former Yugoslavia there was a war.
8) Before Inter wins in 1964 and 1965,another Italian team had won the Champions Cup,Milan. And before Ajax's 3 consecutive trophies, another Dutch team had become the Champion of Europe,Feyenoord.
So,it seems that winning power is a national issue, watch 6 as well.
With all the above and like thoughts,it's like someone wants everyone happy in international football, that is above all a huge business. If we combine football issues with politics,as well, many correlations could be made.

I think Ehsan is talking about the draw not the outcome of the games...

Yes,but if UEFA wants certain couples in order to have more spectators, they will really care about how teams perform, too and which four reach the semifinals, which two reach the final and which one will win the trophy at the end.
Furthermore,in UEFA they seem to like people travelling and spending money,I can't remember the last time a team won a trophy in their ground. So I didn't really expect Real Madrid to take part in the final and neither did I expect Hamburg FC to be in the final of Europa League.

madrid faced lyon in the knockout stages, they are not exactly a tough opponent, they were also knocked out without any decisions going against them

your theory about traveling fans is just ridiculous, the extra money fans spend to travel doesn't go to uefa because uefa don't control any airlines or trains, and the expensive tickets are sold by third parties, so the extra ticket money doesn't go to them either

I want to upset you all. That UEFA setting up teams thats obviously well-know fact. Today entire teams on both sides involved in a betting scams as well as creating dramas and shows to keep this game alive. Peoples minds are changing now everybody is ADHD and with other mental disorders. To keep todays viewer for 90 minutes in one place, it needs to make it very entertained. But I dont understand how senior football fans can be so easily tricked into this circus.
If you bought Barcelona Liverpool and Ajax Tottenham "unbelievable" and "incredible" dramas, I can assure that you understand about football not more than American grandma and it's time to pause downloading images from television and start thinking because they already treating us like apes. And it's going already for quite a long. So next time you watch "unbelievable" game- ignore nice Messi free-kick ( I can show you incredible Chinese acrobats) and look what is odd whats makes no sence and you will be shocked.
Alisson dressed in pink at Camp Nou wasn't an accident. And the last "funny corner" was a spit in the face to those who still understand football. Apes were cheering except those who were betting. They own us by the balls. Football is not anymore a game its a carnival circus with jongleurs jokers wrestlers and political correct buffoons.
